I really thought I'd seen it all, but this morning the driver who almost side-swiped my car while we were both going 70 mph on the Turnkpike was actually brushing her teeth and spitting into a cup.

That's crazy, Deb!  I'm glad you weren't hit.  People can be so incredibly stupid when they drive. 

I had a crummy night and was up a lot with tummy troubles.  Sleepy and still not feeling all that great.

The tile job should finish up today.  There's another problem they need to correct and I can't believe they didn't think we'd notice that all the tiles along one wall are cut too narrow, not to mention crooked.  grrrrr  I'm trying not to get too upset about it but really??  I can't wait to get the house back together and be done with the project.  I had to take DH out for a margarita last night because he was so upset about it.   I kind of wish we had gone with the first tile guy.  He was much cheaper and the only reason we didn't is there was a language barrier that we thought might be problematic.  The company we used came highly recommended by a friend but his tile was done years ago and it seems that quality control isn't the first priority with this company anymore.  :(  I will say that the tile, overall, looks great and once it's over, I know I'll be thrilled.

There is alot to be said about living in a rural community.  The 10miles I drive to work only has about 1 mile of other traffic, but the first time I see a cow brushing his teeth and spitting in a cup I might also have a difficult time staying on the road

 I once watched a girl putting on makeup, talking on the phone and smoking a cigarette.  I wish I were making that up. 

I'm a bit annoyed today.  First off Claritin-D apparently makes me nauseous so I'm going to go back to stuffy nose and sneezing a billion times per day.  Then, I went to go to the gym early this morning and my code to get in didn't work.  Then I went to call and realized I had a voice mail from the gym.  Apparently, the girl who took my registration information didn't give me the right forms and overcharged me.  So, I went in and filled out the forms I needed to and just said to use the balance toward next month.  At that point, it was too late to workout before going into the office.  So, I'll go tomorrow.

Jackie did you use Angie's List? I have used it for both big projects and not been sorry. You can always stop by there and leave a review tho to help out other folks later on. I probably won't get anything else done around the house without consulting that site first.

I have the meeting at the school later today and I am nervous about it. Add in some extra hormones floating around thanks to a certain monthly visitor and you have a very interesting meeting if they cross me in any way LOL!

Thanks for the tip on Angies list.   I started to go there a few weeks back and it does require a membership.  Not knowing anyone that had used it I was leary of sending money.

Sharon, what a crappy way to start the day!!!  I started my day poop scooping my back yard. I think your start was worse than mine and that's saying something when your day starts literally with crap ;p I hope your day gets better.

Brushing your teeth while driving...that's one I haven't heard of before. Crazy. I am guilty of putting my makeup on while driving though.

I took some Allegra-D last night and this morning I only had a twinge of a headache. Nothing like it has been, so I will keep up with the allergy/decongestant for a while.

I rode my bike to work and it felt awesome. There was hardly any traffic so I was able to make good time too. I don't have many days left that I will be able to do this since it is getting dark and cold in the mornings. I am bummed that I won't be able to meet my cycling goal though for the year. The month and a half I took off killed me. Maybe I can get my cycling buddy to do a couple weekend rides in before it gets too cold out.

No.   I joined that site when it first came out but never used it and didn't renew.  I've been kicking myself lately for not using them.  I was considering rejoining so I can post a review of this company and for any future projects.  Live and learn.  Good vibes for your school meeting.

 Lots of grumpy people at work this week.  Got an email yesterday that a day everyone thought we got as a holiday (b/c the list of this year's holiday's and our work calendar list it as one...) we don't get after all.  And then apparently today is supposed to be an appreciation lunch but no one knew about it.

I think I'm ready for the Tiki bar and some chocolate.

That made me giggle lol.  I'm not annoyed about being overcharged just the whole forms.  I had even asked her if there were any waivers I needed to fill out.  To cut the girl some slack, she was filling in and this isn't what she usually does there.  They felt really bad about the mixup/confusion.  Hopefully they get my code working so I can go tomorrow morning.  

My grandfather's 80th is this weekend.  We're not even remotely close, but I'm going.  I have no idea what to get him though.  Maybe some scratch tickets...

I would get him this...because I don't know anyone that wouldn't find this book beautiful. This is assuming the vision is not failing too much to make book gifts inappropriate.

Going to look at puppies on the 25th w/Mayday's mom.  Tonight is the start of my newest Advanced Rally class.  I really love working w/the competition students who are committed to their work.  They are doing so well and I love watching them progress.  The people who waste your time futzing around and want things on their time and can't really commit and then throw their dogs in unprepared are not the kind I want anywhere near me.  Go futz around on someone else's time.  Your money is not worth my time.
