Wow Gina they have grown up so much !   I think you will need your own personal 2X4 in order to keep those nasty boys off your doorstep.  Lily is beautiful!  Eli looks like a kid now....where did that little boy go?   Pre-teen tude, I am glad those years are over for me.   My daughter has one 18 and one 16 both boys and they have got nothin on her "teen tude", lol.  Girls just have the eye rolling and the "uh" down so much better.

Wow -- Lily IS just getting prettier and prettier.  And Eli is really filling out.  I remember you telling that he eats way more -- and he's just not that skinny little boy any more.

And honestly?  I'd rather see the real 'him' in a picture than the Plastic Fantastic fake smiles so many kids grin into a camera. (oh did I just date myself with that phrase?? I saw a bunch of folks taking pictures someplace the other day, and oh my the attitudes were all over the place, then the cell phone cameras came out and oh my -- SMILEY SMILEY -- but it was SO fake.  (I kept wondering how many thousands of dollars of orthodontia was on display LOL)

Holy cow, Gina, where did your kids go?!  I can't believe Eli is 9.  It seems like just last summer you were talking about him starting school.  They are both georgous.

Wow, everywhere I go lately, I seem to get reminders of how much older I'm getting.  Seeing pictures of all the "forum children" is definitely in that category.  They need to stop growing up already!!

Gina's in Texas.  Most schools in the south start around the middle of August.

 Here in Arizona (our part at least) it started on the 6th. Horrors.  (not for my kiddo..he's a wee guy)

When the camera comes out that is usually Hannah's first response.  Fake, crappy smile + head tilt.  Drives me nuts.  Usually after some talking/joking (occasionally tickling) and many deleted pics we get a couple that look more normal and natural.  I'm hoping she'll eventually grow out of it.

School started the 27th here too
