I agree! The coffee is just not working its magic this morning.

That is crazy Jackie.  You should demand a rental vehicle.  Is your car under warranty.  If it is, they should provide one.  If they give you a car they are more likely to get their butts moving to look at yours.  Or threaten to take it to a different dealership at their expense if it has to be towed. 

We removed a dead bush in front of our house on Monday and I am still sore from all the pulling, shoveling, etc.

Oh how I hate car mechanics! I would be calling and talking with the service manager and asking for a car to borrow at their expense. They can give you any car off their lot if they wanted to.

For those not on fb, I used my new sunrise alarm clock this morning. It was a really nice way to wake up! The light definitely worked.

It never fails that when you use a place for the wrong reasons it bites you in the a$$..  I had my Expedition taken to this dealer because #1 they were nearby and #2 the sales manager is a friend (actually his wife is the friend).  This particular dealership is mostly large trucks and though they do sell regular trucks and SUV's (very small part of their business) they don't sell any type of small passenger car. I don't know how it would work to drive around a big dump truck as a loaner. lol  I know, from my own work experience, that there are times when you just can't get to work because of having a heavy work load and previous commitments so I try not to get too nasty when it happens to me.  But that doesn't stop me from wanting to jump up and down and demand they put me first like some of our customers do to me.  Doesn't work on me so I try not to do it to other service companies.  But I want to. lol

Today is National Cheese Pizza Day, so today's cocktail is a couple of your favorite big, frosty brews to go with your pie.

Good morning all,

First day back from vacation....now dont laugh, when I walked into the office the girls said "What are you doing here?"  Apparantly everyone else had down that I wouldnt be back til tomorrow but I didnt have that on my calendar so.....here I am, Ha!

I havent had a chance to catch up on everything, hope all is well.   It's a hot 102 degrees here yesterday and today.

Yikes Jackie - I'm sorry you still don't have answers to what's wrong with your SUV. I hope when they do get around to looking at it, they find it's something minor. I don't like to get nasty either but I'd probably be tempted to ask them if it would be better to have the SUV towed to a different dealership. Unfortunately, they might say "yes" and then you start all over again.

Karen - I hope the wedding ceremony goes smoothly and is a ton of fun today.

Our Board mtg is today and I'm always tense until it's over. There's nothing quite like have an entire room stare at you when they find an error or an attachment missing

 

Lisa the guy at breakfast asked me about 10x if I wanted tequila or bailey's lol. Too early for me, but Tina I'll have one for you later. And you too Jackie. Had to sort out another near disaster yesterday, all pretty ridiculous to me. I am really hoping things go smoothly today and I can get somewhere in time to watch the Giants game tonight, bwahahahaha! Must have my priorities right.

Went for a long walk this morning, I love all the birds but there is no chance to get pictures of the songbirds. The only time I see them is when they fly off :(

I am sitting at the windows and looking out at the sea and a pier that has about 20 cormorants drying their wings

Bugsy is making sure my mom gets with the program. He has a bunch of treat dispensing toys and a variety of treats that go with certain toys. Apparently she put the wrong treat in his orbee football so he picked it up, took it to the pantry and nosed the bag of the 'right' treats. Good thing she has a sense of humor ;)

Deb I have a new favorite drink, habanero margarita, basically a margarita with muddled habanero, others find it too hot but a nice flavor. I could drink we too many of them lol

Good luck getting through the day, Karen.  My DH totally understands your need to watch the game tonight.  :)  He's all fired up about it but mostly because of fantasy football.  He's got a player on your team. lol
