How do I add photos?

Hi, I am trying to add photo's of Willow onto my journal blog and to show pictures of her when I post on the Forums. I follow the directions when I go to my "Edit profile." I have a few on there but I think I just got lucky lol. I'd like to know how to add them all the time without having to guess. Could someone walk me through it step by step? I'd also like to add captions to the pictures if possible. One more question :-). How do I get others on here to follow my blog on Willow? I LOVE this Community-but I am having a hard time navigating it. I am open to all helpful hints. Thanks everyone in advance for your help.

I'm not sure how to add them to a blog, but here's how I add them to a forum post:

Upload the picture to Photobucket

Once the picture is uploaded hold your cursor over the picture.

Underneath picture will be different formats you can use to share the picture.

Copy the IMG Code format address.

Insert the IMG Code format address into your post.

Iit will still look like an address at this point, but once you hit post to post to one of the forums the actual picture will post and not the address.

I hope that makes sense.

Hi Deb, Thanks so much for the help. I am on my way over to photo Bucket to add pictures and then try and follow your steps. Wish me luck :-).

OMG !!!! Willow is adorable !!!

I don't have that problem with picture size, but I think it may have something to do with your camera settings - but I really don't know. Did you try to re-size the picture in Photobucket before copying the image code?

Just keep practicing . . . I could look at Willow pictures all day !! Smile

I had to change the settings in my camera, you can adjust them in photobucket too but it's more time consuming in my opinion.

Willow is adorable! Yes we must see more!

Hi Deb, Thank you for your sweet words about Willow. I just love this baby! She is becoming so lovable and trusting towards us :-). I did not try re-sizing on Photo Bucket. I will go and try that now. Thanks for the advice :-).

Could you please tell me how I would re-size on photo bucket. I am not sure how I would do it on my camera. I am not to camera savvy lol. Thank you for the sweet words about Willow :-).
