The steward in the red shirt picking up ribbons from the table and handing them to the judge is my friend Kim. :) You probably know that, though.

There is a Berner there too! I love those pics at the end with Caleb smiling while displaying his winnings.... That last one is the best. Caleb you have the greatest smile! Congrats to you both.

You know she lost Ooh Rah, right?

Yes, her FB post that morning simply read "Rah is gone" and the rest of us freaked out until she could tell us what happened. I posted about it here. She was a member here for a while. It was a bad few weeks for Dobes b/c he died, then the founder of the rescue where our dogs came from the next week - her Dobe died, then Gracie's litter mate, then Gracie's BFF. All in 2 weeks. :(

How good for you and Caleb to be doing so well! I've got a batch of students going in for their first Novice shows next weekend. I think they're equal parts scared and excited.

Congratulations to both of you! What a great group of photos. I love the first one where Caleb is kind of squinting and smiling -- you can see his eyelashes! And the one where he's yawning is cute, too. It's like he's saying, "Okay, enough media and papparazzi. Are we done yet? I'm bored!"

Caleb is such a handsome dog, and he's obviously talented, too. He's quite a catch!

Loved that Bernese in the group shots - beautiful dog.
