I hope your transition to Lotus Notes continues smoothly, Paige. As someone who isn't too comfortable with change (especially that related to technology), I struggle with computer and software conversions at work. We got new PCs recently and went from Windows XP to Windows 7 for all the Microsoft applications. I still have problems trying to do certain things in Excel that used to be second nature for me, but now require new keystrokes and habits that I've yet to memorize!
I am so glad it's Friday. This week has kicked my behind. It's not even 11AM, and I'm already looking forward to when I can go to bed tonight. Nothing to get up early for tomorrow -- I plan to sleep quite late! We have a ton of stuff to do in the house before the carpet installers arrive Monday morning. The tiling project turned into a fiasco (long story), so we'll be doing the final sealing of it ourselves.
Also, the master bathroom painting has to be completed (I can't wait to re-hang the towel bars -- I'm sick of towels being strewn around the room). And, we have to move ALL the furniture out of our living room, dining room, and bedroom. A sheetrock guy is there today doing a couple last repairs, so I'll have lots of dust to clean up, too. Have I said how glad I'll be when this is done next week?
All this confirms what I've known for years: I would not be able to handle the stress of remodeling a whole house or building a custom home from the ground up. Too much chaos and too many decisions (i.e., arguments)!
