Feel better Twister...you need to eat for Mama. HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOYCE! Tracy, I wish I did know how much I injured my foot. All I can tell you is that I started feeling pain on the left side of my foot. I first noticed it last December when Rick and I were in Vegas walking around. And, lived with it until May when I finally went to see the Podiatrist. We are just calling it a wear and tear and overusage injury. Ugh.

Well, I did get to see the dressage and loved it but have watched so much of the cycling, especially after the not so long ago Tour de France, that I want to run away where there is no TV. DH works tomorrow and Monday, so I'll have the remote to myself - yay!.

Jackie - I hope Twister's appetite picks up. I know what it's like to worry.

Tracy - I hope your DH cheered up and you're enjoying dinner with your friends tonight.

A childhood friend posted pictures of the beach where we spent so much of our time and it really made me homesick :(.

Thanks for the good wishes, guys.  It was a fun, lazy day.  DS #2 got me some weird fan that stands at the foot of the bed and the top slides under the covers and blows cool air.  There's no cord - it works with a remote control.  It should be fun trying that out during a heat wave. I thought I heard that the temps were going up again in a few days.

Cathy, I can relate.  Everytime someone mentions Ocean Beach or I see a picture of it, I feel the same way. :(  Actually, anyplace along the SoCA coast does the same thing.

I forgot to clean out the fridge last Sunday, so I really have to remember to do that tomorrow.  Garbage gets picked up on Monday. There's nothing quite like having a fridge full of little cartons of green, fuzzy, unidentifiable stuff. Sad
