 Me, Janice, Heather and Candace. It should be a really nice trip! Snorkling, kayaking, basking in the sun, plus some side trips to the mayan ruins, through the jungle and tubing through some caves. Maybe some night time snorkling too :) I am really looking forward to this get away!

Baby Sydney Elizabeth arrived at 2:07am today and momma and baby are healthy and resting!  

My Palmer's order arrived yesterday!  Such fast delivery!!

Going to restart some tracking with Gracie... or start Macie this weekend.  My tracking club president has offered some assistance, which I need. 

Arrived at work and the parking lot smells like chocolate - we're right next door to the Lindt Chocolate Factory.  Aaahhh, yummy!

Deb, that post is so hilarious that I'm going to paste it into an email and send it to a couple friends.  As for vodka not being on the list -- the day you forget to buy it just because it's not on the list is when you'll know you have more serious health issues to worry about than high cholesterol! 

Mammogram for me this afternoon.  I loathe this appointment every single year.  Those frickin' machines were not designed for very flat chested women.  I leave there with bruised ribs, I swear.  And they also don't accommodate super short women.  I kid you not -- I bring a pair of my highest heels so I can reach the stupid boob-shelf area.

I just got back from the doctor. I have to take a 10-day course of antibiotics in addition to debriding the wound in my foot. Good grief, it's barely as big as the tip of a pencil. Oh, and the tetanus shot was given to me in my butt cheek. I don't think I've had a shot there since I was about 9.

Tina, if you have the kind of pain Lisa said she had after her tetanus shot, you might find sitting a bit uncomfortable for a few days!

Tina, I'm glad you went in and got your tetanus shot.  Sorry you've got to take the antibiotics but better safe than sorry.

Janice and Julie, have fun in Belize.  I used to know a gal who went there for a vacation and ended up moving there.  She said she couldn't imagine living anywhere else after she visited. :)

 In relation to the mammogram - when I had mine last year I asked if they could do it with me sitting down. My bad back does not do well with standing and arching my back for them to get their pictures. And the tech was more than happy to do so. Just talk to the tech! Hope you come out unbruised this time!

I took Shane with me to Trader Joe's and left him in the car under a shade tree. It was only 65ish, so he was fine. Afterwards, I took him for a walk around the shopping center. He's such a dream to take places.

I emailed the trainer that I was going to skip the reliable recall class starting Sat. It's going to be close to 100 again and the last couple times it was that hot, Shane really didn't seem to feel well. She said she didn't think we needed the class since Shane responds well to "come" and never really leaves my side. I'd thought the same but figured it couldn't hurt.

What's wrong Jackie are those men driving you crazy?  Or did they not get the toilet back in?  Just let all of us girls after them and they will thing twice about makeing you have a bad day :)   Especially if any of us have had to deal with the Boob shelf on any given day.

About Belize -- we had neighbors who looked into moving to Belize many years ago.  I don't know if it's still the case, but at the time, it was very affordable to live there, and they were looking to retire somewhere warm and tropical, but couldn't afford someplace like Hawaii.  Another friend visited there when he was in college and raved about it, he had such a great time.  I'm sure you guys will, too!

The doctor said it's the kind of shot that will cause pain and swelling and I probably wouldn't be able to use my arm for a few days, so suggested the butt cheek because there is more muscle. I was instructed to use ibuprofen or Aleve for any of the above reactions. I guess they didn't get the memo that said I'm a tough chick.

Male doctor, yes, but the female nurse gave me the shot after he'd left the room. It's no biggie to me - my gyn is a man. You've seen one butt, you've seen them all. Except the ones in the People of Walmart pictures (and I'm not there yet).

We had fun at the kayak class but it was cold and cloudy. We've had solid 80s and 90s for like two months now, and the ONE DAY we had some water fun planned, it's cold. I got to try a stand up paddleboard and I LOVED it! I really want to get one now.
