I never would have gone to Disney World had we not moved to Central Florida and we only had 1 family trip there in the 6yrs I lived there. I went multiple times b/c of invites to perform at Disney during HS. Now that I have friends that work there, meaning I could get in for a discount, I haven't set foot in FL in almost 20 yrs! lol

I think I'd be peeved if my sibling went but I didn't, unless it was something he earned. For instance, my sister's dance troupe earned an invite to Australia. My parents went as chaperones. I didn't get to go, but I didn't earn the right to go. lol

My nephew did his 8th grade final paper on rollercoasters, so for his graduation, his father took him to Cedar Point last month. Trip earned! Meanwhile, his step-siblings are going to Italy and France in a couple of weeks, just b/c their mother wants them to spend time w/her family. Trip not earned. Well, earned by my brother-in-law's working to pay child support!! gah!

Paige, I had a dream about you last night, sort of. I was walking past a big old farm-house, and through the front window, I could see a room with a big bed in it and a Doberman lying on it. In my dream, I said to myself, "Oh, this must be Paige's house, because there's Gracie!" I have no idea what your house looks like, but I was certain of it in my dream! Weird how dreams are.

Totally weird, since I live on the first floor of a big red farm house built in 1790. If it wasn't so overgrown on the front, I'd send you a picture. Just wait for the landscaper guy to get in there and help clean it up, then I'll send you a pic and you can confirm if it looked like your dream lol

Lol tracy, that is funny about your boss insisting on going to disney.

So I got sick of trying to hide my sports bra today and changed back into my gym shirt. I look like a tool but at least you can't see my bra anymore lol!

Yeah, especially because he was this conservative, kind of nerdy accountant by day. There were 3 of us (another female manager from our office was there, too). I was so glad she was there -- it would've been even weirder to be screaming my fool head off on the scary rides, sitting by myself with my male boss. At least my coworker was also screaming her head off, too!

Paige - I don't remember the color of the house in my dream, but it had a big huge porch on the front. Also, I remember how cozy and inviting the interior looked because I was walking by when it was dark outside, and all the lights were shining from within the windows. Oh, and the bed that Gracie was on was a brass bed. Who knows where all that detail came from!

Woweeeee! Did the blood donation thing today and my BP was 110 over 68!! Totally incredible for me!

Paige, Gracie must be channelling Dobie energy all over the place--we had a Dobie on the island this week. She was a very sweet girl. I only got to meet her once when she was getting ready to get on the ferry to leave. I agree with earning--the folks I used to work with at a group home decided to go to the Olympics in Atlanta. So we each saved just a couple dollars each week for two years and off we went! We got tickets to three events and we all had a great time. It was an earned trip for sure!!
