    Anyone tried a Genie

bra?  I heard some good reports and bad ones, but decided to give them a shot anyways.  I think, I think, I might like it!  My shoulders felt instantly better.  The band did roll up, but was not bothersome to me.  I might need the next size up...

I've actually never heard of it.  What I DID hear is that usually women need to go DOWN a band size and up a cup size.  Most of the support is supposed to come from the band I guess.  My back is pretty bony but I just hate having that "wrinkle" or bulge in the back that it makes it look like the darned bra is too tight......

I tried a Genie, okay at first but after a few washings, it all stretches out, I don't think it was worth the money.  May be okay if your small busted, (which I sure am not) rides up in the back and down in the front.  Just my opinion.  Would not buy anymore that is for sure.

I thought of trying it, but the ads for them here say they're $20 each for a set of 3, and then you get double the amount for the same price.  Umm.  I don't think I want 6 of them for $60.  I think I'll wait until they show up in the "as seen on TV" sections in CVS or Wal Mart and maybe try one.  Then if I don't like it, I can bring it back.

I saw in the Amazon reviews that some people did pick them up in some stores, so perhaps you could find them there. The reviews seemed to indicate that they ran really small. I don't think they'd work for me too well based on that.

I got mine at Boscov's and they sell them at WalMart, CVS, and Bed, Bath and Beyond, here. But I do not recommend them. Two in a box here for l9.99.

It's been a couple days, and still like them.  But I am still thinking the next size up would be a better fit, even though I bought the recommended size.  I am going to try washing them in a lingerie bag to avoid the problems you mentioned, Auburn.  We shall see...

I got them at bed, bath and beyond for that price also.  They are less expensive on their web site, but in reading reviews, it seems like there are a lot of shipping problems.  To me, that's not worth the hassle!

I waited til I saw them on the "as seen on TV" shelf at Walmart.  I cant really tell you if I like it cause the first day I wore it I thought it was making me sore around the band area.  Then I had some undescripable pain that weekend in my rib cage on one side,  thinking this was Fibromyalgia.  :)  Unbeknownst to me, I had developed a case of shingles.  Oh yeah, great so I havent been able to even wear a bra for the last 6 weeks.   I have had to get very creative with my "work" wardrobe.   I thought I would never hear myself say this ......I cant wait to wear a bra again, lol.
