I've been chewed out by someone who couldn't find his you know what with two hands and a flashlight.  Unfortunately, he's someone who oversees a big contract so I can't tell him what an idiot he is and how little he knows about the subject.

Lisa, that was a really wonderful thing to read about your parents.

I talked to someone who is a paramedic in CO today and I got choked up worrying about a complete stranger.  Those wildfires are just so bad.

There weren't our friends growing up, they were our parents no doubt about that, but they are now two of my best friends.  Yeah, I am sappy too. 

That is exactly how my parents were and how I tried to raise my kids too.  Awesome picture of your parents :)  My Mom and I are very much alike in many ways and completely different in others but as adults we are very close as are my daughter and I.

Not at all, just show up for a family dinner and you are in.  Its a joke that if my mom makes up a placecard for you (yes she does that) you are in for life.  In all seriousness, they have semi-adopted two of my girlfriends who didn't have a great home life.  Everyone is welcome and the more the merrier. Plus my dad brings out the homemade wine for dinner and Limoncello at the end!!  We're degos we drink!

For those are aren't familiar with Limoncello, its amazing!
