• Your breeds most common names miranadobe Posted : 7/19/2006 9:53:33 AM Keep hearing the same names in your breed?  Again and again and again...?  Just curious what you hear over and over again in your breed...  So not scientific evidence, just personal opinion/experience.   Common Male Dobe names: 1 - Kaiser (German breed/German name) 2 - Zeus or Apollo (I think Magnum PI did this to us...) 3 - Max or Rex 4 - Buddy or Jake (I think to counter-act the "scary" factor)   Common Female Dobe names: 1 - Gretchen (German name again) 2 - Xena/Zena (warrior princess?)  3 - Samantha/Sam/Sammy 4 - Velvet or Hannah LIKE 41 REPLIES 1635 VIEWS LAST POST WHATSH0ULDMYL0GINBE? They are often named Charlie, I've even meet a female basset named Charlie.
