Brindle Cocker Spaniels??

• Brindle Cocker Spaniels?? jones Posted : 7/13/2006 9:31:37 PM While walking Russell tonight a man stopped to pet him and remarked that his mom has an elderly cocker spaniel - brindle colored. I have never heard of such a thing in my life - do they exist? I can't even imagine a brindle cocker, let alone blonde and brindle, say wha? Can anyone enlighten me? • Margaret Tyler Posted : 7/14/2006 10:47:51 AM If they do, maybe that's what Joey's mixed with LOL.  I've never seen one - maybe he has it confused with a carian terrier. My Jo Jo's  brindle and we think he is part carian, lhasa, and something a little taller. I'm glad you and Jojo are doing better!   Thanks for the link on merle Cockers, maybe that's what it was... or roan, or even sable, who knows. He probably heard the word "brindle" somewhere and repeated it! [] I was just curious because at times I have been surprised to learn about colors and patterns some breeds come in... like the array of Doxie colors, or the Fox Red Labs. Just wondering if maybe I missed something with the Cockers!
