    What's a "Cuz" toy?

I have heard a few people "talk" about Cuz toys. I saw one on dog.com, but I guess I don't see how it is different then a regular toy??

This is a Cuz toy. They have good and bad one and also different animal shapes.

It's virtually indestructible! And dogs seem to love them.  I have one for my power chewer, and he hasn't destroyed it yet.  It seems to be made of the same stuff that "self-healing" cutting mats are. When Roscoe sinks his teeth into it and then pulls them out, there's no hole. It fills itself back up.

Oh, I just re-read your post (sorry I'm at work on the phone, so a little distracted). You had already found the toy, which I didn't notice before. I'll second the indestrucible part. They are really great! [:)]

I'll third the indestructible part.  This is the only squeaky toy that has continued to squeak for more than a day in my household.  The dogs really seem to like it.  Mine also survived a fall off a third floor deck into a pile of junipers and didn't show any sign of damage from that either.

Another happy cuz owner here!! Dasher is a serious chewer and his Cuz is still alive and kicking!! [:D] He got a bad cuz and has managed to chew the horns off, but he hasn't punctured it yet.

I didn't know that's what they were called.

We've got some at the shelter and they make great squeekie/chase toys for power chewers! They haven't been destroyed yet!

We have a bad cuz!  Ours doesn't have any punctures yet either.  The thing I really like is the really loud distinct squeak!  I really like toys that have a different squeak or noise than most of them do and the dogs seem to really like them too!  I can get my dogs really wound up really fast with a few squeaks of the cuz!

    I love Cuz!

The large Cuz are much harder to kill, although Grey has successfully de-squeeked a couple. He hasn't actually ripped one apart, though. The medium ones fall apart much easier, but Grey loves those more because he can honk the heck out of them.

We have the bad cuz--minus its horns and squeaker.  The squeaker lasted a day and the horns about a week.

We have a bad cuz. He has lasted many months now without any damage! Marley loves to play fetch with it! It bounces all weird and he tries to catch it! Marley even took his bad cuz to bed last night with him--don't ask! We found it strange too!

We have a dino cuz! I'll try to get some action pics later!

we had two dino cuz's. both have had their tails amputated! [:D] they lasted a good long time, but in the end they died a horrible death. right now we have two medium cuz's (a good and a bad). both have lost their feet, and the good one has been de-squeaked. otherwise they are still alive. we also have a "fish" cuz (doesnt really resemble a fish but whatever). it has been going for about a month now with no ill effects.

in general, they make great indoor fetch toys. and sydney loves squeaking them!
