GabbyG needs some good vibes

This morning when I loaded her in her crate to bring her to work I got a phone call and got distracted. I forgot to take her leash off. Sad She's notorious for chewing leashes if they aren't taken off and I am usually so careful to make sure it's not left on her. I got to the office and when I went to get her out of her crate saw her leash still attached. She chewed off and swallowed the hand loop. :( She's at the vet's office now. I didn't want to induce vomiting since I don't know if it's still in a loop or if she chewed it in pieces. I don't know if it will show up on an xray. I didn't get to talk to a vet since they hadn't gotten in yet.

I'd appreciate some good vibes for my girl.

Hate when this stuff happens!

Shimmer ate her beautiful leather collar that we had had made last year. All but the brass hardware that held it together - at least that way I knew she ate pieces of it and not big ones. She was fine, but it was a couple of days of closely watching her. How she got it off to eat it is still a mystery.

Silly Gabby. You shouldn't eat leashes! Hope she will have no problems!

You hae it from me. Our Honey chews leather. She ate hubby's entire wlllet except for the picture section. Even chewed off corners on drivers' licens and credit card. another time she ate an entire leather glove. so I know exactly how you feel, and you can bet your Gabby is getting good thoughts from me.

OH Gabby -- girl, it really didn't taste all that yum going down.

The handle loop wouldn't have been at all easy to swallow ... so I'd be betting it was small pieces. She's got a bright yellow sticky on my printer, Jackie!! And prayers for YOU having to get thru the day and concentrate while worrying!!

Just picked her up from the vet. It's a wait and see what passes kind of day or two. lol I'll take her in Friday to let them palpate her if she hasn't passed it or yakked it up. A few more grey hairs added to my collection. Thanks for the vibes, everyone. I do appreciate them very much.

Good thoughts for you and GabbyG these next few days, Jackie. Sam got into cooked chicken with bones once, and all the calcium = constipation and we were so worried when it took over a week to come out.
