Nicole, my mother may switch carriers when her T-mobile contract is up. She's had many service and coverage issues with them, and during the lengthy power and landline outages in CT a couple weeks ago, she could NOT get a signal. She had to use her neighbor's cell phone (Verizon) to call me to let me know she was okay. Almost always, when she does call me on it, the quality of the connection is terrible -- I usually end up calling her back on her landline so I can hear her.
We're having the opposite bread/sandwich issue in our office today. I brought leftover pulled pork DH made over the weekend, and there's enough to share with my co-worker. She's going to the store to get rolls so she can make a sandwich. I've been eating it with a fork right off a plate -- nothing added but some more BBQ sauce. I wasn't missing a roll, but if she's willing to buy them, I'll eat one!
Paige, it's good you can "tweak" the shoes so they can be wearable once you keep them. Hopefully the test pairs that fit well outnumber the ones that don't. Years ago, my friend's wife was a buyer for a large department store, and she would have sample clothes at the end of the season to get rid of. Some were in my size, so I scored a few awesome designer things, and she charged me peanuts for them. I was bummed when she left that job!
