Monday moaning

The good news is that the snow is gone from the roof of my car.  Totally gone.  The bad news is that when I was putting groceries in the car I banged my head, I thot on the headliner, cussed a little, went back to loading, and when I came back up to get into the car when I'd finished, realized that I'd banged my head on the sun/moon roof button and opened it.  So, the snow from the roof went inside the car.  What a dimwit I am.  Thank goodness for leather seats. Huh?

I feel much better now. All we had was light rain and a little wind. Sky was gray, but no snow. I do have about 6 inches of maple leaves in the front yard. With a little luck, wind will move most of them to the neighbors yard.

We have a guy across the street like that.  Every year I could choke him.  My husband spends hours cleaning up our leaves only to have his blow all over our yard, one of these days.........Just sayin....

Lol im chuckling over the leaf blowing convo. Too funny. Thankfully the trees in my yard died so i dont get any leaves. However my neighborhood is full of trees so i can enjoy everyone elses with none of the fall clean up work :)

I wasnt going to pass out candy because honestly candy is so darned expensive but i caved and bought 1 jumbo bag of peanut butter cups. Now im using this opportunity to train door manners into the dogs ;p once the candy is gone, thats it!

I came back from MI with my mulching mower to get to my leaves, honest I did.  We got an inch or so of snow Thursday (I got home in the wee hours Wed morning), and then rained on Friday, slammed with snow on Saturday......I think I can be forgiven the leaves in my yard.  However, as soon as things dry out, they will get mulched since the man next door is meticulous about his yard.  Sigh.

I too picked up Halloween candy, but since we got NO kids last year, didn't get much.  Far too tempting!
