I could eat mac and cheese twice a day every day! Too bad it's so fattening. It's a once in a while treat for me. I make the best in the world, btw. lol
Surgery scheduled for November 21st. That's the week of Thanksgiving and DH is off all that week. That's a blessing and a curse. lol I'm nervous but excited at the prospect of better vision. I told my eye doc what my vet told me last week, when I told her I needed cataract surgery. She (vet) peered into my eye and said "I don't see any cataracts". I was rendered speechless at her remark. lol When I told the eye doc this morning, he laughed so hard he almost fell off his chair. He's an old dog training friend of mine so I knew he wouldn't take offense or think I was doubting his diagnosis. I see the laser specialist next week to have some tests done. I have crummy retinas that tear (due to being so near-sighted), so the two docs need to collaborate a bit. One more thing for me to worry about.
Karen, DH spends every free moment with his new love, I mean phone. lol I called him when I got out of the eye doc's office but he didn't answer. Called his office line when I got back to work. His main concern was why he didn't get my call and I had to give him a light virtual slap to get him to listen to my surgery info. I guess you and DH won't be going out for date night tonight? lol He's got a date with his new love, I mean phone. lol
Barb, I am so excited for you about the trip to Spain. Can't wait to see pictures and hear all about it. Bring Tina a handsome Spaniard home. I have it on good authority that she prefers the very short ones, heightwise. Had to add that about the height, because I know how you guys go right to the gutter.
