     Yay Lisa & Riley!

I've still been swamped, but I'm slowly but surely crossing things off my to-do list. Feels good to catch up! I can almost breathe.

    Auburn, take care of yourself.

Happy Anniversary Jackie ... a day late.  I was supposed to have a doctor appt. this afternoon,  but got a phone message that it was cancelled and I could reschedule.  They offered me 3 p.m. but I don't want to drive to Sacramento that late because it puts me in rush hour traffic going home ... so it's 1:30 tomorrow.

The guys finally finished installing the panels and now I have a weird little box mounted on the wall near the end of the sofa in the front room.  It's supposed to "read" stuff and give me information, none of which makes any sense to me at all. I had no idea this project was going to involve installers, electricians and city inspections, but now it's over and everything is (hopefully) up and running.

It sounds like we're going to be in the low to mid 80s for most of the week, and then a cool down to the 70s for the weekend. I can live with that. Smile

ETA:  I still don't have my Halloween stuff up and I can't believe how many stores already have the Christmas stuff on the shelves. Sad I thought it was only WalMart that did that.

This one is my fav.  I should wear it to the next school board meeting. LOL

My hubs actually has this one...every time he wears it AT LEAST 3 people compliment him on it...LOL!

Awesome about the school too! :)

Quick! Does anybody have a spare $180,000 they'd like to give me? Pretty pretty please with Rupey kisses on top? I really really REALLY want this house:

It's in the same neighborhood as my mom's house, like walking distance. Plus it has all the room we need. I has want.

Gee Jan -- I'll let you know if I have change from my check this week.  Hmm

*sending Auburn some Epsom Salts & Ibuprophen*

GO LISA!!!  You did good!!  REAL good!

In the middle of two nasty closings this morning my keyboard drawer completely cracked off the hinge sending keyboard to floor (with my foot in the way) then

Yahoo mail did me dirty again (crashing me EVERY time I tried to open an email) so I spent valuable time opening a gmail account for my work stuff.

    so ---

I officially give up.  I"m not stressing over ANY of it.  Life is what it is and after today is over it is GONE.  I'll go home, pet my dogs and I'm gonna have Sangria with dinner.

Callie, I'm with you, love it !Wink

Auburn I keep telling you -- we NEED to team up -- on that trivia board what *I* am good at you aren't and what I suck at you're GREAT at ... and if we BOTH have sangria we'll completely enjoy it all! LOL

If you have a CVS near you see if they carry Traumeel cream -- that stuff ROCKS for a bruise.  Truly it does.  Rub it on as many times a day as you want to but it will heal the bruise faster than anything and take the soreness out of it.  When my Dad was falling a couple of months ago he decided he LOVED it.

Ok, thanks Callie! Big Smile  I forgot to factor in the money we'd get from selling our house, so actually $60,000 would be about right. Stick out tongue

Auburn, you should get a t-shirt that says, "You should have seen the other guy!" I hope you heal up quickly. Ava nuzzles should help.

Per state law they have to hit certain timing (which they haven't).

Does your state specify calendar days or school working days for each timed event? Ours specifies for each event and it makes a huge difference. Things like evaluations (we have 30 days) are school working days after parental consent is given in writing, not calendar days. So something that looks like it should take a month is actually 6 weeks at a minumum (if school met every day in those 6 weeks---longer if school is closed for any reason). The state defines school working days are the 180 days school is in session.  Other timed events are counted in actual calendar days (Saturdays and Sundays included), but most involving evaluation, disability determination and IEP development are school working days. It is frustrating when it takes a long time. I don't know Michigan's time restrictions, so I'm not sure how they count the days.

Amazing how the right email to the right person works everytime.

We have our IEP meeting set up for this Friday and it looks like Riley will possibly be starting school next week!!!!!

Seems I should read the whole of Wednesday chat before posting! Well done!
