My new little niece is on her way into this world apparently! She is kind of early. She wasnt due until the end of the month. I was talking to my sister at 2 am this morning as she was on her way to the hospital then my mom called me at 6 am to tell me the docs are helping baby katlynn along. So hopefully everything is going well. Btw the name is a play off a cousins name (katrina, e call her kat for short) and my sisters 2 middle names (lynn rose) so the baby will be called katlynn rose. That was a pretty cool way of coming up with her name imo :) and we all love the rose part since that was our great gmas name. Anyway, positive vibes for a good healthy baby deliver and for me to make it through the day on such little sleep please!

I am "off" todya, which simply means I don't have to go to work. Ton of other stuff to do.

Weather is crazy. Brilliant fall colors....and 80 degrees ! Ack, I am afraid for winter.

Will be back later, Julie, have another cup of coffee....you can nap later.

Good vibes for your sis and baby Katlyn Rose. :) I love her name and how they created it.

We've got some cloud cover today and a little higher humidity. We have a decent chance of rain this weekend. We need it of course but I had plans on Saturday that rain would mess up but I'll take the rain if that's what happens. Another fire has started up in the Bastrop area. Crying

I dremeled 64 dog nails this morning. I need a live-in dog groomer. lol

Paige, Gracie looks pretty unimpressed with her ribbons and such but gorgeous as always. :)

Welcome to the world Katlynn!! I too love the "customized" name. My mom made my middle name Michel (pronounced Michael) because she wanted to name me after her brother. Over the years, I've adopted the middle name Michelle cuz there is no way I am having a boys middle name.

Training class tonight with Mar. I look forward to showing off his moves to the trainer since he has the most doubt in us since Marley is a "boxer". He actually told me before that boxers were generally the worst dogs to train. We did prove him wrong though since we have been the "star performer" in not only Puppy Kindergarten, K9 Manners but Super dog too

Hope everyone has a wonderful "hump" day...so glad half the week is gone already.

Oh a BABY!!! Welcome sweet girl and good birthing vibes to Mom and Katlynn Rose. What a lovely name!

Have I mentioned how much I hate mornings when DH has to be at work at 5AM? The morning gal is having her gall stones removed today so will be out the rest of the week. The shepherd shuffle is more trying with only DS to help out. And much louder.

Have a few things to do here at the office, then going home to bust through the cleaning there. *Maybe* I'll even press some clothes.....well, maybe not. The thot is there but not sure it'll carry through into action!

Julie - I'm sending good vibes for your sister and baby Katlynn. What an exciting day for all of you.

I just read Susie's post on Caring Bridge and now need to get my self composed. Wow, she sure makes my gripes seem pathetic.

I was supposed to be off all week but decided to work today since the weather is so crummy. It'll keep the pile of mail from being quite as large when I come in next week and it makes it seem like 2 vacations instead of 1.

I slept like a baby last night and didn't even hear the wind and rain but it must've been substantial because a bowl I'd left out had about an inch of rain in it. It's supposed to clear up later today and then be sunny and in the 80s for the next few days - yippee!

Speaking of babies (welcome katlynn!) I put in my request for an Aussie puppy. I can't believe I did it! The thought has been lingering in the back of my mind for some time but I keep pushing it back. Yesterday i was, once again checking out the breeders in my area and I could no longer resist. Her dogs were so beautiful! So. I've set things in motion - OMG! Scared and excited all at once.

Wow Denise - how could you NOT want one of her puppies? They're beyond adorable. A breeder once told me that blue eyes weren't a plus but I think they're beautiful. Are you going to get one from this latest litter?
