I would happily sacrifice as many goldfish crackers as it takes to appease the rain gods, as long as they make it stop !!

Maybe this will motivate Jamison to go out to pee despite the rain and puddles. 

I discovered that if I threw a piece of ham out there, he would run out and get it and make a quick pee and/or poop - he's got it covered in less than 30 seconds.  He'll still only go out maybe once a day if its raining.

Had a long walk this morning, fairly cool here - Bugsy wanted to run most of the way - this is good to see the energy but not so good for my body as I wasn't really up to a 4 mile run   We had a little funny at the start when he heard a cicada (he's obsessed with them, they are a fun toy you can eat.....apparently) and he darted to get it just as a cardinal swooped in to get it. The look on B's face as the cardinal flew off with HIS cicada was priceless.  Of course he tried to jump up and get them both....fail.

Today is the first day I have clients using solely the new phone setup - I had a VOIP line for the business but the price kept going up so I researched and found a way to run Google Voice on a dedicated line.  This means my second line is FREE.  I <3 free and I have used it over the last couple of weeks without any issues so I cancelled the other line completely now. Fingers crossed

OK I have to get some work done - for the first time in over a week I DO NOT HAVE A HEADACHE! It is either due to the storms moving out or because I had a decent dinner last night, not sure but happy

Mmmm goldfish crackers!

We went out to dinner last night using a groupon to a place we've never been... got two good meals, and dessert was a brownie with ice cream.  There was a piece of wax paper or some such thing under the brownie, and although it wasn't making it convenient to eat, it wasn't exactly obvious it wasn't supposed to be there.  When she picked up the plate, the server noticed it and comped our dessert so we ended up getting two nice dinners (mushroom, bacon, & gruyere cheese burger and DH got a prime ribeye steak), dessert and still spent a little less than our groupon!  Yum!

I am back at work today.  Had a wonderful vacation.  I havent really had time to catch up with everything that is going on.

I swear, between the ragweed and what all the smoke has done to the air, I can't stop coughing and sneezing and neither can my children.  I don't really think we are sick because it comes and goes, and I know I don't feel bad at all.  These are some of the worst allergies ever though and the ragweed levels are SUPER high right now! 

One thing I didn't miss about having a baby is pumping.  The first few days back to work and with Coop in daycare have gone well so far and I feel like I am getting into a routine that works.  I have slowly been trying to adjust my wake up time so I can get to work a little earlier, but of course, that's when Coop nurses two extra times!  At least it doesn't matter when I get in to anyone but me.  That's a plus!

My cousin is having a baby boy today and I can't wait to meet him!

I'm feeling really mindless today.  I have a cold.  I feel like crap.  I am off today (which is good) but I don't think I will get much done (which is bad).  I did walk Baily and that just about kicked my butt !

Yay for Karen not having a headache!  Tina, I hope your tooth is resolved soon.  Texas folks, I am sending vibes that you all stay safe.  I have been reading a bit and looking at pictures.  Just horrific. 

I wish I had some goldfish.......................

 I'm pretty much trapped in for today... I can get out in one direction, but every crossing over the creek around here is closed due to flooding. I'm electing not to head out in the other direction since it's packed by people who have to get out and take the very long way around.

Are you being evacuated Jen - thousands in PA are.
