Puppy with flea dermatitis

• Puppy with flea dermatitis pip52 Posted : 7/5/2006 2:30:27 PM We had a stray dog decide to take residence at our place.  She was with puppies.  She disapeared for a few days and we finally found her and puppies.  She had 7 but all died but one.  It has a bad case of flea dermatitis.  I bathed it in a vet recommended solution.  My question is:  He has little knots at the base of his hair and when I comb them out the hair comes too.  Should I continue to try to get them out or just let him be.  He's  16 or 17 days old. • Basset_girl Posted : 7/5/2006 4:48:50 PM if its just a few hairs its not a problem it will grow back, if its a lot of hair I would be careful they need their fur to stay warm.
