good thing predicting air temp of 103-105 for the next 3 days  I refuse to even contemplate 'heat index'

Better sleep last night but still only 2-3 hrs without interruption. But I don't feel so empty headed today LOL keep in mind that is all relative

Bugsy is doing better and the wound looks good and seems to have stopped weeping.  He is going to be very tough to keep down by tomorrow 

I have to deal with a real PIA client situation today and I really don't want to do confrontation today but I suppose I must.

lol, that reminds me of an article on sloths that I was reading yesterday.  :)  Glad the a/c is getting done and good vibes for your meet with the PIA client.  Glad to hear that Bugsy's incision is still looking good.  I'm sure it's going to be a challenge to keep him from being Bugsy. :)   Kisses for the beast.

I was running late this morning and felt all rushed to get to work.  I don't know why since nothing happens till I get here anyway. lol 

 Boo...I would say more but I am a puddle of Dawn....I melted in the heat.

Hooray for AC being almost back and Bugsy Bugs feeling more like himself. After that many days without AC, chances are he will perhaps sleep a good part of the day, going "ahhhh, finally".

We are leaving in a few minutes on our way to visit a farm that produces humanely raised grass-fed and pastured beef, pork, and chicken. I have not eaten a pork chop in several years because the store ones are so slimy and gross. If this place is what I hope it is, we'll have some yummy meals in the near future. Only problem will be to find it. The last part of the directions is to find a driveway between three white mailboxes and a radio tower. If ya'll dont' hear back from me I am lost somewhere in Texas.

My new obession:  freeze chunks of honeydew melon.  When frozen, throw them into a nice tall glass.  Fill glass 3/4 of the way with Vodka.  Top off with diet lemon-lime soda.  Drink with a straw.  When all the liquid is gone, eat the vodka infused melon.  Repeat as needed.

Trying so hard to keep my garden alive, so far so good not as if its just dry and hot but we also are having a record grasshopper year.  Now as of last night I have some new kinda bug that is chowing down on my tomatoes grrrrr....

yummy as that sounds, Deb, I'm not sure it would do much to hydrate.

OMG, the humidity......rather miserable today.  But, I know it's no where near as hot and humid as it is in other parts of the country so I'll try my best not to complain.  Still........

Glad that Karen's AC is going in today AND glad that Bugsy is feeling better.

 They have raised our heat warnings now. We'll now have excessive heat with heat indexes of 105-115. Yesterday, I went to Dorney Park, and in the water park, they have obnoxious rules about what shoes you can wear on the water rides. So we just threw our sandals in a locker, and walked around barefoot. My feet got baked, and I now have blisters on the balls of my feet. I'd like to go out and get some aloe to put on them, but it would require walking up the stairs. The stairs hurt the worst, because I can't walk on the edges of my feet. I need some breakfast, but again, that requires going upstairs, and that hurts. I'm debating crawling up there soon, getting some breakfast, and going out. I think maybe some crocs would feel best on my feet, so I might go buy a new pair.

LOL!    If you get lost in East Texas, all I can say is good luck and don't expect to travel at the speed limit or try passing anyone going less than the speed limit. lol  When I used to drive to Lake Jackson for Hunt Tests held on remote ranches, I was lost more than found. lol  I learned to look for other people with dog crates in the back of their trucks and we'd form a caravan of lost people. lol
