I swapped Tastykakes with someone once who sent me Dr. Pepper directly from the factory. It was the best Dr. Pepper ever. Anyway, I'd like to try some of those Wonderbars. Actually, the candy I really want is Fraise Tagada (that's the French name, it's Tagada Strawberries, and I think you can get them from other countries). Anyone going to Europe, and can you bring that back?

We have something here that resembles the TastyKake cupcake with icing in it! The others...not so much. I am still wanting to try said TastyKake brand!

Those are most definitely NOT Smarties. LOL. Those are called, Rockets here I believe. Smarties basically M&M's, but do taste slightly different.

Hmm, what about turning this into a swap? We haven't had one of those in a long time. Those who want Tasty Cakes could request them...otherwise, something made locally?

I'd be in on a tastykake swap, but I don't think we can do this through swap-bot, since we would need to have the tastykake haves assigned to ship to the tastykake have nots. What about a local goodies swap (I think this is what I did before with some people who wanted tastykakes in the past, but I don't think any of them are still on here). I sent them tastykakes, they chose a local goodie and sent it to me.

Not trying to highjack on the original offer (just wanting to see if we can spread this out so that you don't get stuck with doing all of it). I'd be willing to do swap assignments or help out on that if anyone wants to do a tastykake/local treats swap.

I thunk because we need to assign specific partners ( to assure all those who want tasty kakes can get them) we need to have it arranged by a human and can't use the swap bot. Someone who has set up on there, can you enlighten us? I think we can just set up a thread for people to sign up, and ask if they are able to send or would like to receive tastykakes, and if you can send out multple packages. I can set that up later, but I am using my iPad right now, so I'm getting all sorts of auto correct goodies.

I would like to join in on this, but I have no idea what is "local" out here yet. :( It's Pinot Noir country... so I could ship a bottle of that from a local vineyard...
