Ashtabula Ohio.. Husky/Collie LOST IN TRANSPORT .. PLEASE CROSSPOST CROSSPOSTED.. PLEASE DO THE SAME.. Doberman Rescue] EXTREMELY URGENT!!! ASHTABULA OH! MISSING DOG IN ASHTABULA OHIO, ESCAPED WHILE ON TRANSPORT, PLEASE HELP!

Josie is missing and we need anyone and everyone's help to find her!

SHE IS A RECENT SPAY AND STILL HAS STITCHES! This should help in identifying her but is obviously an added concern with her being on her own!

She broke free from her collar while on transport was last seen at
approximately 7:00pm (EST) on Saturday July 1st in ASHTABULA OH just off Interstate 90 at EXIT 223 - Pilot Gas Station Parking lot. Volunteers searched for her and spotted her on several occasions in that area but were unable to contain her before dark.

If you see/find Josie, she is very scared but IS UP TO DATE ON SHOTS. We have her paperwork and rabies tag to prove this. She is a sweet sweet dog, so while we obviously encourage everyone to proceed with caution, do not be afraid to approach her.

Notes: Josie is a husky/collie mix female. She is 2-3 yrs old, weighs 40. Josie is a very friendly, social, well-behaved girl. She is calm and has a wonderful disposition. Josie is good with children and is also good with other dogs. This pet is up to date with routine shots.

Im really sorry I cant help, but I just wanted to wish the rescuers good luck in finding this girl, its brings tears to my eyes to think of such a sweet looking girl scared and on her own.

Let us know if she turns up

Haven't heard any news if she's been found. Just bumping this up in case anyone is in this area.
