My eye is worse, will likely need to go to the doctor.  Bleh.

What do you think it is??  Pink eye??  Allergies ??  Is it still only one eye ??

Deb, I don't think it is pink eye since it's not the eyeball itself, just the upper lid.  I'd guess it is aggravated by allergies because of the extra cat in the house, but ultimately it's probably a small infection.

Speaking of the extra cat, Buddy slept at the foot of my bed for a while last night and around 2:00a, I woke up to the sound of him snoring!  It was cute, on the exhale he had a little whistle going on. 

Well hurry up and get to the doctor.  I need you to be able to read the racing form and help me handicap the the derby so that I win more money than Mr. W. !!!

So my actual day off is today (not yesterday) and it is rainy.  Oh well, breakfast with Grandma and a couple errands.  Home to play inside games with the boy and get some housework done.

Missed the meningitis thing, off to read up on that, but will be thinking of Gabby too!

Morning troops.  Supposed to be another yucky day here today, but tomorrow they are calling for sunshine and warmer temps, and since the station is involved in the downtown cleanup tomorrow, which means I am involved, I'll appreciate that.

Seems like I'm as busy now as I was during the actual tax season.  Have done a return every single day this week, have another coming in today, and have to be in the office for a couple of hours on Friday morning.  Not complaining because I totally hate being home full time, but, wow.  Sure can't seem to catch up with myself.

Tina, please take care of that eye.  Need to catch up on all the rest.

Tina, I hope it's nothing serious with your eye.  Bummer that a doctor visit is on the radar but better find out what's going on.

Hope everyone else is doing well! It's a gorgeous spring day here.

 I hope everything is going okay for everyone.

Luke is being a super cry puppy today, and keeps barfing up grass. Maybe that's why he's being a cry puppy. 

So, in addition the person in my group who sent us the plagiarized work, there are two other people in the group who have submitted nothing to the rest of us yet. Ummm... our project is due next Thursday. I'd have liked to be working on finalizing it right now, but I'm not. Well, I am working on finalizing my piece. I guess if they don't get anything in soon, I'm going to do the whole thing, and also refuse to let them speak during the presentation, and let them fail. I really don't want to complain to my professor, this is grad school and we should be above that, but this is such crap. I had another project for my other class too (which was luckily due mid-semester). I work full time too, and I got mine done. It's called I forgo doing other fun things in order to get the necessities done sometimes, or I stay up a little later, or I get up earlier. It's called prioritizing, and if these people haven't learned it by now, they aren't cut out to be graduating, and having major responsibility over the lives of some pretty vulnerable people. 

Lily is home sick with a fever, but she's in good spirits.

Elias went with his Dad to get his eye checkup...which went not as well as wed hoped. He's not made any progress with the new scrip and the doc has now suggested "specialist intervention". Testing etc to see what is going on and try to decide if the lack of response to the scrip is more to do with the signals from his eyes to brain than the eyes themselves.

I am SO not looking forward to it, lemme tell ya. Under "bad patient" there's a picture of Elias. No lie. The opth. doc said the practice is VERY selective tho so he may not even get in or it may take months...fine with me. He isn't losing any ground and is seeing as well as is possible right now.

The kid has so many challenges...this kinda bums me out. Enough already.

Sure don't! Hopefully it could be stopped tho. LOL! Ya know we saw a CONVERTIBLE Nissan Murano a while back and THAT was one nice ride! Crossover wise.

Tina, can you see any particular point that is a problem?  Like, maybe a spider bite in your sleep?  (That happened to my roommate once)  Eeek... I hope you get some relief and resolution quickly.

Gina, sorry about the concerns for Elias' sight.... Poor kid does need a break.  There's only so many times your reassurances will calm any concerns about differences between himself and whatever is supposed to be "like everyone else"... whatever that is.  ((hugs))

My mom says my aunt "is doing much better except still in ICU" - so, THANK YOU for the prayers.  I'm not trying to beg for sympathy by mentioning it, but just giving feedback to those who are sharing their kindnesses, that she is improving. 

Why did I agree to take on extra work for this weekend when I have to fly out on Monday for a big trip? lol  Cuz I love my Tracking Club, that's why. ;)
