    WHY IS IT .....

that a dog who will wait until he's ready to explode before he'll go out to pee in the rain will follow you around when you're trying to water the plants, jumping in and out of the water like a lunatic, letting it get in his eyes, ears and mouth until he's so soaked you could wring him out? Will he remember next winter that water is his new best friend? [:D]

When did Brown and Grey go over to your house?[sm=lol.gif] Those two will hold it for a week if it means they don't have to go out and pee in the rain. But give them a hose...

LOL! How about one of those cute raincoats and a pair of doggy ducks! Of course you could always try and run around after them with an umbrella. [;)] My best friend has 2 litle dogs, a chihuahua and an italian greyhound. They both HATE wet grass and rain and wouldn't potty outside when it was wet. I got a cheap kitty litter box and put some soil in it and a square of sod. I watered it until it took and started growing strong. I gave it to her and now the litle dogs have their own indoor lawn to potty on when it rains!

Gracie loves the rain, she'll run around the yard trying to catch and eat raindrops. [8|]

Sofia totally ignores rain, ice, snow, hail ....whatever. She wants to go outside and DO STUFF. There are squirrels out there, and voles and sometimes wabbits! Who cares if you get wet? That's her way of thinking.

So I take her out for a quick pee and she wants to go for a 20 minute walk. Meanwhile, it's pouring!

She is the total opposite of your dogs. She doesn't like hoses at ALL. But she will go right into the river and turn into alligator dog, where she wades up to her chest, stretches her neck out and puts just her lower jaw under water. Then she walks along, biting the top of the water. Don't ask me, I don't understand either! And this water is 40 degrees, at the WARMEST!!

Max seems to be like Sofia in the water. He will run around in the water at the park, he always comes back from daycare soaked from the pool, and loves the rain. The triggers his zoomies. But, he does not like hose, because it means washing.

It doesn't rain much here in the desert so bad weather has hardly ever been a probem for Gizmo. If it does rain it's only for the most an houre or so. Never snows here so I would not even know how Gizmo react to snow, she's never even seen it. Wind and dust storms can ba a problem but i don't let her out during thoes anyway.

That's funny, my dogs are totally the opposite, but sound just like yours Jeano!  They hate the dreaded hose or really any type of water EXCEPT the rain.  They will go for walks in the rain and go outside ion the rain and take their time about it.  And they have nop problem coming back in with muddy paws and jump up on the furniture if I don't stop them.  LOL

When we got Sally she literally would not even walk through a puddle.  Today she was doing zoomies in a stream, digging in it, trying to carry sticks twice as long as she is through it, bitting the water, and sticking her entire face in the water....She still looks at us like we are killing her when we give her a bath.
