I have puppy fever - I've got it bad

I can tell you that this would be a GREAT pup coming from a very loving home. We actually thought about taking a pup from her litter....but we decided we wanted to complete Remi's training first and then think about adding another GSP. And don't worry about it being the last of the litter. That really means nothing. Remi was the last of his litter! We got him at 3 months old. I found that he got more experiences with the big dogs and got some great learning experiences by spending a few extra weeks at the breeders. 

I can hook you up with Remi's breeder if you want...she usually does one litter per year. Obviously my vote is for a GSP, but Weims are great too!

What is it that your husband is not sure about? Of course everybody needs to be on the same terms and want it. Have you always just had one dog at a time? 2 dogs is a bit of an adjustment, but it was one of the best decisions I made to go from 1 to 2. 3 isn't much different, just have to be more creative with walks when DH is working.

I can tell you that other GSP will be in our future...they're such a great breed! I hope to get one for Remi to enjoy growing up with.

If someone dropped an aussie or BC in my yard...Merle preferably and have to be male.  

We are on the same wave length, but I have no one to tie my hands behind my back so I don't fork out money or sign something LOL!   Only thing stopping me is no one at home any more to help with house training.  My schedule sucks for puppy raising:-(((

This is Image, who I am babysitting for my breeder- she's a half-sister to the litter I'm on the waiting list for, and I stole her for a couple weeks so J can focus on the upcoming litter and I can get a puppy fix and help socialize her. :) 

 Sorry Kelley just seeing this - yup it was the last of Beth's litter.  He's gone to a show home now

DH really felt that it wasn't a great time to add a pup (I disagree but we were looking at it from totally different perspectives) and his biggest issue was that he feels very strongly about rescue.  I will continue to work on him as adding a GSP is something very important to me and I want to start with a pup.
