Beagle baby Cleatis is throwing up.........

Cleatis is kinda throwing up, maybe just spitting up, if he was an infant I would say he spits up after he drinks a lot of water...........what is this? He seems ok otherwise, playing, running, poop is normal, pee is normal, just this spitting up thing, it is almost like he coughs and then it comes out. No food or substance is with it, just clear.

Any ideas??

It could be from having an empty stomach?

Joey will do this after he drinks too much water too fast. When we're at the dog park (there's a fountain for the doggies) I have to make sure he doesn't run over there every time another dog gets a drink because he will throw up.
I wouldn't worry too much if he doesn't show any other signs of being sick!
But I'm sure there will be others around that know more [

Lucy did this for a few months... maybe form 2 months to 5 months... she would just drink way too much way too fast...

I agree, sounds like he's just gulping water too fast - gets an air bubble down and what would be a burp becomes an upchuck. My dog sometimes does this when it's hot... I find that spiking the water bowl with ice cubes doesn't allow him to gulp so quickly.

Riley does this too when he drinks too much or too fast. It basically sounds like he is going to belch and then it gets caught and he lets up mostly water. He always swallows it back down though.
