poisonous plants?? morning glories, moonflowers, day lilies, marigolds, boston ivy.......

My boyfriend and I just moved into a new apartment in Brooklyn with Tyson.  This apt. has a yard, which is highly coveted in NYC.  It also has a nice back porch, with lattice on the sides.

I was really looking forward to growing morning glories and moonflowers on the lattice, and have even started planting seeds in pots.

There are day lilies already growing in the yard (from previous tenants) and I potted up some marigold seeds with my students.

There is also some boston ivy growing on the fence from previous tenants.

    Well....
I was browsing around on the net, and come to find out that ALL of those plants are toxic, poisonous, and or irritant to dogs!

Our dog likes to eat grass, but I have never known him to eat any other plants, but I would NEVER want to put him in any danger.

Does anyone have any experience with anything of this nature?

    Thanks!

Heres a list although not complete... sago palm can be deadly (at work we had to put a dog to sleep b/c he ate some and was unable to be saved) and its not on the list.

And marigolds I believe are a wonderful natural fly and insect repellant in the garden. My puppies chew on anything green lol!

I let some grass grow tall for my dogs to eat.
