    Best Dog Magazines

Does anyone here get any dog magazines? I know there are tons out there, and i was going to subscribe to one or two, but there are sooo many i cant decide. What is everyones favorite? I'm looking for one that covers pretty much everything. Are there any breed-specific (GSD, English Springer Spaniel) magazines?

    Thanks for your opinions! [:)]

I get Bark magazine sometimes and I really like reading it.

    I get Dog Fancy

I get Whole Dog Journal and love it.  It's very informative.  No glossy pictures or ads of any kind.

I get Animal Wellness, but I don't like it as much as Wholedog Journal or Bark.  Animal Wellness is great for it's dog food ads, but very California-y.  For example, the June/ July's issue had an article about building an animal friendly pond.

I guess I want to know about nutritional studdies and reasons for this health problem and that and how to solve it.

The Animal Wellness magazine does do alot with holistic suppliments though.

I was very dissapointed in the animal wellness magazine. We paid close to $7 for a whole lot of adds.

I was also disappointed that they'd basically run a 'doodle add... and a bunch of other nonsense stuff... I definately won't buy it again.

i have seen breed specific ones at pet smart/petco. I know there is a dachshund one... you could probably do an online search.  They are expensive though... like $10 a month.

I get the Whole Dog Journal and the Bark. I'm definitely going to renew the Bark when it expires, but i'm not sure whether or not i'm going to renew Whole Dog Journal.

I would guess you could find a breed specific magazine for most breeds.  I know the basenji has one (I subscribe, I also get a quarterly magazine from our parent club).  I also subscribe to CleanRun but it is an agility magazine.  I used to get the AKC Gazette.  I liked it, but eventually dropped it when I realized I wasn't reading all the mags I was getting.  Dogworld used to be good too, but I have read one of those in a while either.
