    Wouldn't it be nice if...

Wouldn't it be nice if we could all meet? Have a big reunion for i-doggers only in a park somewhere in the middle of the country, where we could all get together and celebrate the dogs we have and honor the ones who have left us by showing videos or pictures of them?

I was just reading the Rainbow Bridge posts, and read about Shari, I would have love to see her "dive in the snow" like her mom described.

I love this site, and the dogs here and always think about all the parents and carry you in my heart for loving the furry babies so much.

I want to thank you for the advice, the funny stories shared and just for being a great bunch.

I am embarrased now, but this is how I feel. [sm=blush.gif]

Don't be embarrassed, olinda.  Some idoggers have met one another in the past, and I think it would be cool, too.

Yeah, that would be cool. Max has met Grady and Aspen, and we're hoping we'll see at least one of them if not both, again at this event [linkhttp://www.yourdogisworthittoo.com/]http://www.yourdogisworthittoo.com/[/link] , and we'd love it if we saw some more i-doggers there. So, if this isn't too far from you, we hope to see you there. And if anyone is near the Philadelphia area and would like to meet Max and I (can't meet Millie because she doesn't like other dogs) we would love to get together with you.
I also tried to meet Markie once, but I think Jaime got sick and didn't come to the show. Still, i'll have to meet him sometime.

One day I'm going to meet Gina and her beagles, Sarah with Harley and Izzy, Ron and Shadow, and Shlepp. If I'm missing anybody in the DFW forgive me!
One day we shall meet at Fort Woof!!

I live in Houston, TX  otherwise I would have loved to go and meet you guys.[&o]

Thedoc617---I am not too far from DFW, would not mind driving up there, maybe we could organize an event and at least meet the people in the " Big State of Texas".  [;)]

Glenda used to live an hour and a half from me, and before I got to meet her, she ran off to the Land of Snow and Ice. Silly Glenda!

this eventhttp://www.yourdogisworthittoo.com/ , and we'd love it if we saw some more i-doggers there.

Wow, that looks like a cool event..I would love to come, but I have an agility show that weekend [&o]

Our kennel club puts on a 2 day breed show in Aug.  I was hoping Markie may make an appearance.  I was going to wait until the date got closer to ask Jamie if she was planning on attending.  If so, hopefully we could meet up with other I-doggers b/c I will be volunteering that weekend. [:)]

Jaime may be going to that event.  She mentioned coming to MD for some shows this summer.

How far is that one from say, Towson?

Also, I have met Jaime and Markie and Katie and Blitz but Katie doesn't come on anymore.  She lives about 10 min. away so we have taken the dogs hiking and gone to a dog show.

I'd be very interested in meeting more ;people in the Baltimore/MD area.  Also, one of these times when I go home to NJ, hopefully I can meet some people there.  I know a bunch live not too far from my parents.

    Katie doesn't come on anymore.

I miss Cuma and Blitz. They were cuties.

If they do the Cotton Bowl-dog park thing again I'm going to try to go to it. We usually try to spend a weekend in DFW every couple of months anyway. Gina's pups will be old enough next time too.

Yeah, I am not sure why Katie doesn't come on much.  Last we spoke she had been pretty busy.  We are hoping to get some afternoon hikes in soon since it is getting darker later :).  I will let her know you said hi :).

Stacy, I just checked, and according to that, i'm 2.5 hours or so from Baltimore. IIRC, wherever your parents are is closer to me. Max likes all dogs, except for yappy, obnoxious little yorkies (anyone with yorkies, he probably doesn't dislike your dog(s), just two we met last week), and he says he wants to meet anyone who wants to meet him.

    East Coast? Feh.

For a far better time everyone should come to Alaska. [:D]
    • Gold Top Dog
Nah, Jean, everyone should come to MICHIGAN!  We've got all sorts of lakes, we're about 30 minutes from a GREAT place to take the dogs for a swim in Grand Traverse Bay or just a bit further to Lake Michigan.

Jennie....that just sucks doesn't it??  We weren't a mile from the Petsmart on Abercorn....just in the neighborhood behind it!

I remember in the thread I started about Dog Days of Summer in Denton (TX.) that perhaps we would have to organize a Texas chapter of i-dog in order to meet and carouse. Or, find another dog event in the area.

I spent yesterday afternoon replacing the a/c compressor and accumulator in my personal truck. Then, if we met, you could see my bumper sticker. Two pics of Shadow and the words "Dog is my co-pilot."

I think is a great idea Ron.  How would we go about that? I am excited the dog show is coming to Houston. I always go, because I love to watch the BCs do agility.
