WHOA, loads of snow out there.  We got let go at 2pm in our dept, but the building remains open.  Never closes unless there's a State of Emergency declared by the Governor.  That almost never happens. lol

Are you talking about Jan (Vizla) and Emily (Weim)? I can't think of anyone who has both.

I thought maybe that's who it was but I didn't realize she had both...at the same time.

 Lost the whole post... ugh.

I asked my boss for the day off yesterday, good thing we have about 20 inches. The govener didn't declare a State of Emergency until 2pm and DH still had to go to work! Took about three hours to clear the driveway and trucks... more importantly the puppy paths out back. First thing this morning they had a very hard time doing their business...

The puppers love this snow and cold weather, full of vinegar and beans...

Not very happy about having to stop playing for that flashy box...

 ETA: they have mushers secret on their feet or they would not make a half hour in the snow.

Linda - your dogs look adorable in all that snow. I don't envy you all with the mess and hassle but it sure does make for some great pictures.

Ugh!  Just looking at pics makes me cold, and heaven forbid I look out my windows!  We have more than that here and I'm really more than ready for spring and gardening.

Glenda... don't look outside, just give your foot a rest and let DH & DS deal. After this week you DESERVE  a rest. DH forbade me from using power tools when he is not home... he calls me his delicate flower because I break EVERYTHING, do a fair amount of damage to myself but not up to your standards! OUCH

 The only thing I hate about winter is the bathroom is always too cold, even with a ceiling heater, in the morning. Sorry I'm still like a kid just loving the snow... well until about the end of February. I do have the unfair advantage of a huge down coat good to -30 deg and soral boots. Although DH managed to loose my gloves... ugh

 Why is it if there is snow on the driveway the pups feel free to use it to do their business?  Sure hope DH uses the quad to plow the last 3-4 inches of snow... hate the turds to break the snow blower... lol

Unfortunately, I have to behave.  I've got this big stupid boot thing on my foot and I can't get IT or the foot wet because of the stitches.

I'm not thrilled with snow when I have to shovel it, but I really enjoy walking in the fields and woods with the dogs once the clean up is over!

The doc called me in some more antibiotics and another steroid pack. I hope it works.

I'm cold! Brrrrrrrr.

Btw, I think we hit 5" of total snow. I still don't think that's enough to justify the snow blower. It needs to snow more if its going to be this cold all the time
