Thats awesome.  The only visitors we get in our backyard are birds and the neighbours kids balls.

my parents get visitors like this at their house quite often. the only visitors we get are field mice, and lately i have been smelling a skunk in the evenings when we take the dogs out to potty.

you should visit SC. we have a deer over population. they have even extended the hunting season and added more "doe days".

when i was in college a friend of mine was in some animal sciences program (not vet though). they were tracking the number of deer in an area only a couple of miles from campus. he said on most night they went out, they would count 100-200 deer (minimum) in a small field.

What a gorgeous deer!   We have them in our yard all the time - they're vastly overpopulated up here too and get into everyone's gardens and into the roads where they get hit by cars [:(]   They're quite bold around here as well...you can just stand and watch them and they'll just stand and watch you back.

When I visit my sister's place in the Adirondack mountains, I swear the deer hide behind trees and hurl themselves at your car when you drive by!

Cute visitor. Our visitors consist of possums, raccoons, snakes, and at the moment, black grasshoppers, which I cannot wait for their departure. Nasty things.

They sure are beautiful to look at.  We also get a lot around here.  A couple of years ago, we had a buck in our backyard.  He just laid there for a few hours and then left.  It was so great to see that right in our own backyard!

We have Doe Days in Ohio outside of hunting season. The deer problem is bad.  In some of the parks the deer will walk up to you and eat out of your hands.

They are beautiful to look at, but kind of frightening when you find them on your deck, or worse yet, in your living room.

Not to me...a few weeks ago there was a guy here that came home and a deer had jumped through his glass front door.  His entire house was ransacked.

This has happened in a few other Midwestern towns as well.

LOL, I will see one one of these days.  DH pointed one out on the side of the interstate one time when we were on our way to Florida, but I missed it.  Wouldnt have really counted anyway.

My visitors consist of frogs and bugs.
