Still sick!

    Well my puppy is still sick. I posted about this a few days ago when he was treated for kennel cough. His meds ran out today. It is better, don't get me wrong. His cough is minimal now, but his congestion is more of an issue and has me concerned.

    Can I give him a mild decongestant or something? He is having real trouble breathing through his nose and his chest is cruddy.

    Any other remedies worth trying?

If he's finished with the medication and still sounds like that I'd take him back for a re-check.

Id take him back to the vet... hope he feels better soon, poor guy.

I was freaking out untill this afternoon when I realized I hadn't noticed any hacking or wheezing today. Hopefully he is over it. I'm a college student and just paid for a trip I'm taking in a week so I am strapped for cash, therefore I can't take him to the vet right now. I think we lucked out on this one. He will be boarded at our vet, so maybe she will take a look if I ask when I drop him off. She's cool like that. She also knows I'm poor.
