What are You Happy/Grateful for Today?

 I am grateful/happy that I still love Christmas despite the past.

I am grateful for a relationship that is strong and healthy.

I am grateful for pets that are happy, healthy and who all get along.

I am grateful for a job that I mostly enjoy.

I am grateful for all the people in my life...including the virtual ones

I'm especially happy that I got my self imposed work deadlines done this week.

I'm grateful that I have a good boss (who is also a friend) who listens to my concerns and attempts to make changes based on my feedback.

Aside from work stuff, I'm grateful for the friends that have come in to my life over the last couple of years. Making new friends is sometimes a challenge as people get older, but I have been lucky enough to actually have met some really great people who I respect, admire and just enjoy being around.

Of course that leads to the friends I have made through this forum. We are all so spread out, but it doesn't feel like that at all. I especially appreciate those I've met in person and hope to meet more when the chance arises.

Finally, I'm happy that abbie is doing so well in sar.

Oh and I'm grateful that my 83 year old g-ma is still alive and well and thankful for our weekly conversations about everything and nothing. My dad and I used to have the same conversations and since he is gone, she has filled his shoes. We have a really nice relationship.

I am also thankful for all the love and support I have in my life.  Today I had dinner w/two friends, both mothers of young boys, who have been enduring horrible marriages.  So, today I will be thankful that I didn't marry my ex!

I'm grateful for a wonderful husband (and having known the opposite I'm grateful that I **appreciate** how good he is)

I'm grateful for Billy, Luna and Tinkerbell and all the uniqueness that each brings to our lives and home. 

I'm grateful for each and every dog I have ever loved -- EACH has taught me so many valuable things and has changed me for the better

I'm grateful for the health I have.  It's not perfect, but I'm still on my feet and I can live, laugh and enjoy the things we enjoy doing.  And the challenges make me better than I would be otherwise.

I'm EXTREMELY grateful I don't have to have the darned biopsy this year.

I'm grateful for my husband, he doesn't let all the crap faze him and just keeps on going. It's a balance I need.

I'm extra grateful for Jackson and the girls. They never fail to provide lots of laughs and kisses along with moments of extreme insanity.

I'm grateful my DH is now in town and I have a shoulder to lean on.

I'm grateful the meds seem to be making Pepper feel better.

I'm VERY grateful for my sister and her husband, without them these last two weeks I don't know how I would be holding up.

 I'm grateful that I have a 3-day weekend. I'm also grateful for this forum.

Many things to be grateful for.  The one I will single out for now is that my sister is my best friend.  It wasn't always that way.  But it is now.  And I am happy and grateful to have her in my life.

I am grateful for my loving husband of 25 years, we still are in love and he is my very best friend.

I am grateful for having the love and friendship of my children and grandchildren and my parents.

I am especially grateful for my new son in law who has put the sparkle back in my baby girl's heart

I am grateful for my job, my co-workers and my boss who are all like family to us.

I am happy to have my adorable furr babies to round out our happy home.

I am so very grateful to my friends here, many days have been lifted up by your pictures and your stories and laughter :)

I am thankful for having all those men and women in the armed services watching out for our freedom.  Blessings to all of them and their families today and everyday.

I'm grateful for many things. 

Grateful to live in a country that has such a diverse blend of cultures from which to learn.  A country that, despite it's flaws, allows me the freedom to live as I choose.  A country of such physical beauty it takes my breath away.

Grateful to my Dad for teaching me to love and cherish nature in all it's wonderful forms and for teaching me the love of reading.

Grateful for the wonderful friends and family that share my happiness as well as my sorrows.

Grateful to everyone on this forum who share their love of dogs and their knowledge and their big hearts.  You have all enriched my life more than I could ever express.

I'm grateful for this too Jackie. We all walked that scary journey with you and we're so thankful for the miracles that happened with Charles and his recovery.
