Really, how grumpy can you be with that face 2 feet away from you??

Not really... I wanna play wif Rascal!.

I meant to say earlier, the Cowboy Christmas party sounds like a BLAST!!  My training group's party is the 19th and I'm going to get my Christmas decorating magic going over there.  Another group is having their holiday party on Weds evening.  I believe that's when I'll be voted in. lol

Still snowy here, though it's gradually melting.  Did provide a great opportunity to get Kes used to tracking and doing sits/downs in the snow, before it started to melt lol.  Yesterday I froze my butt off at a schutzhund trial, so today I'm enjoying my warm couch!

I also wanted to post to thank Janice (janobonano) for the awesome new siggy!  I loooove it. Big Smile

Mission acomplished.  Clean dogs, all brushed, bathed and pedicured.  Mom, back shot, body drrenched, in need of liquor.....

Off to reclaim the bathroom for human use.

     seriously!

I need to get on my holiday cards. Luke's costume is ready to go now (there are some photos of him wearing it over on Facebook). He's dressing as Hanukkah Harry.

Ours is still drifting lazily down but not sticking.  Its really quite pretty.  And when we look out the back windows, we can see the mountain all lit up which is pretty cool looking.....

We're supposed to have flurries tomorrow, but nothing sticking really yet.

So, I think I decided I will make a friend chocolate frogs as part of her New Years gift. I can't outdo her in terms of money spent, but I can out awesome her. She'll never see that one coming. Come to think of it, I bet my cousins would like it too. I just don't know if I can get the mold in the store, or if I have to go order it.

I am sincerely hoping that the Boston channel is wrong since they say we should have 3-5 inches falling tomorrow.  While some of my dogs will be thrilled, I really don't want to make this shoulder do any shoveling.  Wonder if I could teach the dogs to shovel?  Drag a small plow or something?

Glenda - Six dogs, brushed, bathed and pedicured.....wow!  LOL.  I imagine that is a large large chore!  Then again, mine are really not to big of fans of baths.....so it makes it a bit harder.  Heh.

Good thoughts for Molson, poor little guy.

We have a bit more than a foot of snow here!  It's beautiful, the trees are all covered in fluffy white snow, the lawns are all smooth and white.  Oh and the best part - the roads are nice a clear and black!  LOL.  I hate winter driving....I did get brand new winter tires that are awesome, but I still hate winter driving.

I have wrapped all the dogs presents and put them in their stockings for Christmas morning and I've wrapped almost everyone else's presents.  DH and I are setting up and decorating the Christmas tree tonight while we watch Christmas movies - we are just waiting for the tree to warm up and drop it's branches a bit before we get to decorating.  A month or so ago I found a cute Rottweiler ornament at Petsmart :)  There was no beagle though....weird.

We are making a stuffed pork tenderloin roast for dinner and DH is making his delicious honey mustard sauce to go with it :) I normally don't like honey or mustard, but this sauce is fantastic!

It's not Thanksgiving anymore, but I am so-o grateful for my new heat pump system!  The old furnace surely would never have made it with the forecast we have for the next few weeks!  If there were clouds in the sky, it would snow in GA for Christmas!  I am also grateful that I do not live in Buffalo anymore!

I am really anxious to see my first electric bill with this heat pump in action...last February's bill was atrocious...

Is it a geo-thermal Marty?  Those are really nice and pretty efficient.

Theo and Shadow are usually the really tough to bathe dogs, but they were really good today, while Thunder actually had one back leg up on each side of the back end of the tub!  Shadow and Tyler do NOT like having their nails cut so with them, I had to zero in, dive and snip FAST, but by golly, everyone is DONE.  Those two are ok so long as I don't touch their feet.  I do NOT get that since both were taught from infancy to have their feet handled.

Speaking of pork....anyone got a good leftover pork recipe?

I've been mired in laundry and getting the "get it ready" stuff done to make my Christmas cakes.  Publix fooled around this year and didn't get the candied cherries and pineapple in til AFTER Thanksgiving (WAY after) --- but it takes forever to cut it all up and get it ready TO make.

David worked but is on his way home now and ***finally*** we're going to see Harry Potter tonight.  RAH!

Billy's feeling better thank heavens!!!  So glad to see him hungry!!

    • Gold Top Dog

No...I am up in the air about hanging on to this house...it's a bit much for me to handle with a bad back.  I guess I am waiting to see what happens with my son and his family...the economy has done a number  on him.

So glad that Billy is doing better!

Jen, you might try making cranberry bog frogs....no molds needed.  Quick and simple to do too.....melt caramels, drop in chopped cranberries and pecans, drop onto a parchment paper covered sheet by spoonfuls, chill for about 30 minutes and then dunk in melted chocolate.  These are  sooooo good and really pretty easy.
