Day before Turkey day chat

Can you believe we still haven't been grocery shopping??!! We only have a turkey, lmao! And wine! ...hmm, guess that's all we need! We have so many orders to pick up (seafood and pasteries) and so much cleaning still to do. Wow, we're slacking this year! eek!

 Wine, did someone say wine?! I haven't had wine, or any alcohol in a bit actually. A big glass of wine would be nice right about now! There's about half a big bottle left in my refrigerator. I'll have to see if that's still any good or if its turned. Hmm....

Happy Thanksgiving to all. The hubs and I and a friend of his were suppose to go out to dinner, nix that...the friend bagged a dear this morning and had to take care of that and then his truck window started leaking, since it is POURING here he canceled.

Oh well, pizza for dinner.

Hi folks --sorry -- haven't had a spare minute.  At this point *I* am packed -- David's just gotta finish packing the car and we're off to get a bite to eat and then on our way to Tampa.  As of right now, I am officially "chilled out" (well -- trying to be??? *grin*)

I bought this microwave popcorn maker (cooks kernels without oil, like an air popper) works like a charm! Popcorn counts as a balanced dinner, right?! Sadly, the wine in my refrigerator was no longer like wine lol (it's been in there a LOOONG time), else I would have had some wine to go with my popcorn lol.

Dropped by to tell you about my eventful day...ugh!  It was crazy at the office, then came home to finish my to die for homemade chicken and noodles.  Noodle made last night and dried all day, chicken put in crock pot this morning.  Was gonna watch Hallmark sissy movies and cook (the real kinda cookin girls), lol.   Well my adorable hubby for some unknown reason took the kitchen remote with him when he went to town, ya gotta know and love him...:)   So instead. after an hour of looking for it while gather the laundry, I decided to drink "Wine" and strip a chicken, ROTF!

Wine is good....not so sure how the chicken and noodles will turn out! 

Everyone traveling be safe.   Wind is still out of the south right now but weather says changing in a few hours and we may even have flurries tomorrow.  If we werent traveling tomorrow I would be fine with that but....we are going to Tulsa.  Just a day trip.

DH is already in bed watching TV. I won't be staying up late either but this seems a little early, even for him. I blame it on buying that awesome adjustable bed that makes it more comfortable than being on the couch or recliner ;)

 Goose was ever precious today. The lad is off as he's a teacher and it's Thanksgiving break. So, rather than my coming home at lunch to let dogs out as I do daily, we just went to lunch as he would be able to let them out. Apparently she was very baffled that I wasn't there to do the lunch run.

When I got home this evening she flew down the hall when let out of her crate and even jumped up, she was so excited to see me. She never jumps, so that was surprising. Cute though (she caught herself and sat properly immediately after)  She was snorting up a storm, telling me of her day

I work for the next four days. Not especially looking forward to it, as we are packed at work (they aren't allowed to tell clients that we are full, so if that means big dogs in small cages, so be it)  . Bending is cumbersome and hard on the back (a kid under your belly button will do that, I suppose). Bleh
