My poor puppy!

    My poor puppy!

I took Buster to my mom's house for a while while I went to the cemetery with my sister today, he always loves to visit grandma.  My mom and my other sister were spending the day outside so I thought he would like to visit while I was out.  Everything was fine until she decided to put him into the basement so that she could go let the neighbors dog out (she is dog sitting for the weekend) to do his business.

Apparently, Buster didn't like being in the basement, so he decided to push the basement door into the kitchen open and  wander about upstairs.  Well, what he didn't know was that my mom just got a kitten (it'sabout 4 or5 months old).  They apparently ran into each other and Kitty scratched Buster's nose.   My mom came back in about 5 minutes after she put him inside and found him crying in the basement.  When she got outside she noticed blood on his nose!

Luckily both dog and kitten were fine, just a little startled.  She said Buster cried for a while, but eventually settled down and Kitty was ok after a few minutes.  I'm so glad nothing worse happened, this could have ended worse!

Oh poor baby!  I am glad he is OK and that nothing worse happened, but it still must have given him a fright.  Ben got whacked on the nose by a cat that thinks our backyard belongs to it, and I am pretty sure that's why cats are the only thing it barks at.  I've been swiped by a cat before - it hurts!

Ben sends puppy kisses better - the magical kind. :)

Yes, good thing he is fine. Sounds like that would sting!
