    Sunday Chat

OMG we've got inside zoomies bursting out all over - LOL Always a dangerous thing for humans, dogs, furniture and walls.  No idea what that is all about but it is an eye-opener at 6:30 on a Sunday morning

Going to make some blueberry muffins soon - Bugsy's play date should arrive about 8, then I hope to take a long walk, set up a Christmas tree to take a few pictures and tonight settle into the football game

Oh and last night i was surfing channels and found Great Migrations on NatGeo zowie that is some amazing footage.  The entire series (4 shows I think) is on tonight starting at 7pm - I am going to record it.  I think I'll watch it over and over!

Having my coffee and contiplating breakfast. I finished a quilt yesterday and have plans to finish off the the matching item, which in theroy should take 15 min.....but you know that will go out the window!

The day outside is starting off gray and cranky looking.

Karen, don't you like random acts of zoomieness?  Kord and the cats get wild every blue moon or so. Wait...I have it....it's a full moon and a frosty one at that....that's what got into bugs..either that or  all that down low good behavior from yesterday just let him rest Stick out tongue Your such a good dog Bugs.

Tyler was a bed hog last night and I ended up having to sleep like an L.  When he finally decided to move, he stretched out beside me, butt in my face.  I feel like a pretzel this morning!

Beautifully sunny here this morning, however it's supposed to be COLD.  Time to break out the wool socks I think.

Do the zoomies mean that bugsy is doing better?

I've been waking up really early (for me) lately. I want to complain but it does make life easier.

Its cold out. And windy. And we have training today. I think I'd rather stay inside my cozy warm house sounded by dogs.

I bought some antlers yesterday for 9 million dollars. Abbie is loving them. The other 2 don't care about them as much. The lady I bought them from said her dogs like the shorter wider antlers over the longer thinner ones. I bought one wide, one medium and one thin and long. The only one being touched is the short wide one.

I just picked up Luke from the kennel. I feel so bad when I see him at the gate, and I have to go inside to pay the bill before I can get him. He gets so sad when he sees me and I don't take him right away. I'm wondering if maybe I should park on the other side of the building so he doesn't see me until I am ready to get him.

I am trying very hard to remember to bring something with me a client today, because I put $5 on the line if I forget it again. I'd rather just stay at home with my puppy boy today though than work, but I suppose it isn't too bad.

Sassy wasn't showing much interest in her antler either until DH ground it down a little. The guy he bought them from (on EBay) said that sometimes it's necessary to do that to get the smells or flavor to release. Since DH did that, Sassy has spent hours each day gnawing on it.

It's cold, windy, wet and gloomy looking this morning. I'm not sure when we'll get more rain, but there's more in the forecast. The mountains got pounded with tons of snow and I know that's going to make a lot of people happy.

I think I'll hop on the elliptical and hope that gets me revved up. I'm soooo excited that I only have to work 3 days this week and am already looking forward to a 4 day weekend.

Dawn zoomies are wonderful...................OUTSIDE! He is way too nuts and too large to run them inside!

Julie I have kept him fairly low activity since last weekend and kept up the Traumeel and I do think he's feeling better.  I have noticed that his shoulders are full of tight muscles and knots.  I'm hoping to take him in for a massage next week and see if the woman that does that can help me see if it is lower leg issues, shoulder issues or neck issues.

It is so gorgeous out today - again - I just went for a wander to take some photos - I am so not a photographer LOL Now I think I'll rake some leaves

*smile* I am SUCH a mean Mom -- NObuddy pushes me outa the way.  You give Mom her **Space**!!!  There are few things that make me wake up ratty but that's one of them LOL  If I'm in the wrong position I get muscle cramps and wake up screaming (yeah, fur real)  so they tend to make use of the parts of the bed where I ain't LOL

We had a blast last night -- you Canadians -- these guys are based in Ontario Classic Albums Live - so they're doing lots across Canada this winter (and their Sgt. Pepper is AWESOME), then more dates in the US after the turn of the year.  But this version of "Help" is all the OLDER Beatles stuff which absolutely rocked.  Both David and I had a blast.  And for live concert stuff it's NOT at all expensive.  If you shut your eyes you honestly think it's the original band of whichever.

Gotta get it in gear so we can get down to the Festival of Trees.  When you live in Flooooor-daa you gotta make a real effort to get in the Christmas spirit LOL.

Bugs -- zoomies at 6:30?  at my house you'd fall over the 3 dogs FIRST! LOL

Tyler never does that.  But, then again, I normally fall asleep in my chair and end up in bed in the wee hours, if at all.  Last night I was the FIRST one in bed, so I guess he felt the need to snuggle with me.  He usually doesn't get the chance since Sheba tends to be on the bed when I get there and oddly, only one at a time will be on the bed.

The grocery store was packed!  Everyone doing their shopping for Thanksgiving was there. lol  I won't miss fixing dinner this year.  I'll be having too much fun at the coast.

It feels like a balmy spring day.  The dogs had a great time this morning at the ballpark.  I took Twister but kept him on a lead so he wouldn't run around.  Gabby was a little monster trying to drag him by the leash or bite his leash.  Ah, the joys of a puppy at full throttle.

I'm so happy and thrilled for a friend of mine.  Her dog, Tia, was a finalist at the AKC National Open Retriever Championship.  Some of you might remember me posting about her mom's fight with bladder cancer.  My friend won that fight and has continued doing what she loves, training and competing with her dogs.  She's worked so hard and waited so long to get a dog of Tia's caliber and she's over the moon that her dog was a finalist. You can see Tia (she's #19) on the official site.  I always find the stats interesting.  The black Labs dominate, year after year.  :)

I'm going to clean out my vehicle.  It seems dumb since we're going to spend four days at the beach but I like to start out clean. :) My car is so full of dog junk in a big jumbled mess and it's all got a nice coat of dog hair. ugh.  Send help if I don't surface in a few hours.

Bugsy - zooming at 6:30 am?  You are nutso.

Glenda - I am mean like Callie too, Timmy's a bed hog  most of the time, so hes not allowed to sleep on the bed.  LOL.  I would be far too cranky he was in there all the time.  Sadie on the other hand, she knows how to stay out of your way, that or you can shove her and she doesn't move or wake up.  Heh.

I am cleaning our our cars too Jackie.  I decided I'd better do a deep cleaning before the snow hits and I really can't put it off any longer.  I've gotten mine done, then I came in to eat lunch and now I am about to head back out to clean DH's car.

DH and FIL are working downstairs on the washroom - the new vanity is in, we just need a faucet (it's on order from ebay) and they are off to the store to get the faucet for the shower now so they will be able to install the shower today.  Hopefully if all goes well, they will get the shower installed and the toilet as well and I will almost have a completely redone washroom! I just won't be able to use the sink until the faucet arrives and gets installed.

Me too!! I'm also thrilled for your friend and her dog, Tia. What a pretty name for a dog too.

I was obviously confused about your trip to the coast too Jackie but I can't imagine a better way to celebrate Thanksgiving. I hope you have awesome weather. I'm watching a Next Iron Chef and they're cooking on a beautiful beach somewhere.

DH came home, got cleaned up and went the gym. Sassy is lying by the door anxiously awaiting his return and looking oh so sad and even throwing a whimper now and then. She adores her daddy.

I'm making us a late breakfast and not long after that, I'll put the turkey in the oven. I'm not doing a huge feast of food. Just the turkey, mashed potatoes and a veggie. I'm mostly looking forward to a leftover turkey sammy for the next few days.

YAY for zoomies!  Inside or out, at least the boy is zoomin!

My baby bro got married last night.  The ceremony was gorgeous, & the reception was sooo much fun.  Aside from the first dance, DH & I were on the dancefloor all night.  We had so much fun.  My legs are still hurting!

Before heading out yesterday, Bru had some stomach problems, & Schatzi ripped a nail off, so they both got dropped off at the vet's.  Today, Bru is feeling much better.  Schatzi is bandaged, & will have surgery tomorrow to remove the remaining nail.  She's milking her sore foot for all that it's worth!

It's absolutely gorgeous outside now - sunny, cool, breezy.  I'm sure there's more rain on the way since the prediction is all weekend through Wednesday.

Dawn, I must need another cup of coffee (or something) because I first read your post to say you were having coffee and a constipating breakfast.  Embarrassed

Glenda, are you sure you got the dinner idea from moi?  I can't remember mentioning anything except double decker turkey BLTs.
