    Boarding a dog...

DH and I just got back from a one week trip to Vegas, and we had Sally boarded with our vet.  The vet said she did well and that she was a sweetheart.  When we came to get her it was like she was unsure of us at first.  When she got closer and smelled us she was fine.  Is this normal?  Should I be worried?

Next month we have a family reunion coming up that we have already commited to.  She would be boarded for at most three nights.

Is this something to worry about?  She seems normal, if a bit clingy, now.

I think it is.  Willow seemed a little disoriented, confused the couple of times we picked her up after leaving her.  I think by tonight even you'll see she's back to herself and fine.

Zoe was just staying with my parents while my bf and I were on a cruise last week.  When we got home, she was happy to see us, but spent more time with my parents, not us, while we were all together at their house before we left to come back home.  However, while we were gone, they were very good to her and gave her treats, barely ever left her alone, and played with her a lot so she did like them :)
