    should i do it so earley?

    so i was looking around in the newspaper  and there is a puppy class on aug. 5 and its free so  should i do it so early? or should i wait  entell the next class

    she will be  14-15 weeks

    Timewise it's certainly not too early...make sure she is healthy tho, well protected via necessary vaccines, and no longer shedding any sort of bacteria that may infect the other students.
     
    I'd want to be very sure her immune system is up for the challenge [;)]

    Not too young, but yes, make sure she can handle being exposed to so many potential problems and is up to date on shots.... just in good health and vaccinated.

    Emma started classes at 11 weeks. She hated it, and really learned nothing her first six week set of classes, but that's b/c she was so darn busy *fighting* me. Once she got over that, she learned great. Had I waited longer, I believe it would have been worse. Had I started with clicker training, it likely would have been a breeze.

    I would definitely start early, and start with positive reinforcement methods.

    Any puppy class would be good, I'de say she's olde enough.  Especily if it's FREE!
