Thanks again guys! Ron2, pofi- I have noticed some of those posts while browsing around here. It's sickening. Every time someone asks me what happened to Maggie I tell them she was murdered by corporate greed and lies, because that is exactly what happened. The FDA knew about it, and Fort Dodge Animal Death
definitely knew about it, but it took way too long to pull this poison off the market that never should have been there in the first place. If only I had known about this board!!!!!! But I have learned that you can't blame yourself for being the victim of greed and lies. Like so many others, my vet refused to believe me, and Fort Death was no help at all. I never even got an apology, just a bill for a cremation fee (and they didn't even offer me her ashes like my friend's vet did when she had him pts). I told them to forget it and that they would never see a dime. I got that shot twice, so I figure I had already given them about $120 to kill my dog and that was enough. Maggie died 3 days after the second shot, but she was one of the lucky ones. I know she didn't suffer like so many others. She simply fell over, convulsed a few times, and died right in front of me. It was over in less than a minute... but I felt as though I had died too. Sorry to bring it up, but it's good to get it off my chest every once in a while. It happened 3 years ago on May 23. She was a beautiful girl, and had only just turned 4.
