Moving old dog (big house) to small apartment

I have a 9 1/2 year old Lab/Chow mix. She was abandoned at a 6 weeks and since then taken care of by me. I have lived with my parents the whole time of course. I am now 19, and I will be moving out very soon. The problem is, my dog, has a HUGE backyard to play in all day at my house. She is very territorial, and skittirish any time I bring here anywhere else. She has a hard time eating and sleeping in new places, and has spent very little nights away from my current home. I would love to leave her in my current home and visit her when I can, but, my parents don't pay any attention to her. If I was lucky, they would put food out for her every night and bring her inside to sleep. Thats it. The only attention she gets is from me, and we are quite attached to say the least. I am scared that moving her to an apartment will be too drastic of a change. I am also scared that she will not have enough time to excercise and may feel confined. She is also a very hard adapter, she has her spots and patterns around our home that she has never changed (sleeping, eating, and resting in chosen places every day for example.) I was thinking that I could always leave her at my parents home for the day, since there is so much running room, and bring her back to sleep at my place. Yet I think that all that transporting would be confusing and difficult for a dog, especially one who has never been adjusted to change. But I can't leave her without any attention. This is a huge dilemma for me, so maybe you all could help. Thanks.
