Thanks everyone! I think I'm going to try the bitter spray. She is so relentless with Rickards, I pretty much have to keep him on the other side of the gate now, because he just doesn't know what to do with her and she tries to drag the poor guy around. I feel so bad for Lilith though, shes been crying alot and I think its because she feels crummy and obviously misses her family. She got her 1st set of vaccines and microchip on wednesday then early this morning my DH ran to the vets to get Revolution for all the dogs because Lilith has Canine Lice! Theres alot of adult lice so it looks like she has had it for a while. So thats probably not helping things. I did call her breeder about it, she was shocked because she never saw anything on any of the dogs and neither did the vet the pups saw on Wed. I never noticed either on the first day. I noticed by chance last night when I was brushing her back leg and saw something weird and I recognized it as lice... SO GROSS by the way! Turns out several of Lilith's siblings have Lice. The vet thinks the pups picked it up when Lilith's breeder took them outside to play. She lives in the middle of no where so theres alot of wildlife around. I'm not upset though and she felt really bad. But it will take about four weeks for all the lice to die *sigh*
I am having alot of fun with her though. She is playful and cuddly and really smart. Its been fun training her, she catches on really fast. I've been making her work for every kibble so far too, either by making her sit, teaching her not to bite (using that clicker training video I told you guys about a little while back) or practicing doggy zen. I want to repeat those things for the next few weeks and then try teaching her something else. I really need to hunt around online for more about training, I seem to have forgotten how to teach quite a few things. *sigh*
Well, time to start supper while Lilith is asleep
