ETA, went rushing to FB to see he's come home. What a relief.  All my white hairs are from dogs and I just added a few.  Probably not as many as Anne did.  So happy this had a good ending.

Yesterday we were off in search of an inexpensive dresser for DS.  We did find one, but along the way I found an awesome old sewing machine table for $1.29!!!  It was marked $35, marked down to $10 and had the additional sticker on it.  Since under the law they have to sell it for the price marked

Actually, in most states, it is not the law.  It is usually a store policy, but as customers have been known to move prices around, they are not required to honor the lowest tag.  You really lucked out.

Things went pretty smooth, for the most part lol.  The night before, friday, was the rehersal.  Last weekend I got gel nails put on, they are much stronger than acryllic.  Anyway, my dad and i were waiting to take our turn to walk up the isle, and as a joke, my dad went to kick me in the butt from behind, while standing beside me.  he hit my hand and ripped one of my nails off.  not just the fake one, but over half of my real nail.  which was bleeding and hurt soooooo bad.  luckily my brother took me into town and the place i got them done, and set a 9am appointment to get it fixed.  it still hurts though lol.

the ceremony was awesome, only like 5 minutes long lol, but derek and i put it together ourselves. and i didn't cry :)  the photographer sent us one teaser photo, dont mind how weird my arm/hand looks lol

Ugh. I have a paper due in a few hours and I cannot make myself focus on it. I really can't wait for these days to be over. And I feel awful because I only left my house once this weekend but I still didn't really play or exercise with the dogs.. of course, they played with each other, but I still feel guilty. I can't decide if I should go to the doctor.... I feel sleepy all the time (that's what I did all weekend...I probably slept 45-50 out of the past 72 hours). My stomach's either upset to the point where the thought of food makes me sick or else I can't stop eating and feel like I'll never be full. Even if I did go to the doc, I dunno what'd they say other than stress. =( I definitely plan on spending the next weekend making it up to the boys though.. lots of playtime.

It sounds like everyone else's weekend has gone fairly well: glad Quanah came back home and the wedding went well. Btw, I think it's really cute (and a good sign for your future together) that even when you're upset you still cling to your loved one. =)

Lauren, I've already said it on FB, but I will say it again. The pic is great!

I attempted to go running this morning. I made it a little over a mile before the pain in my shoulder was too much to handle. I am so sick of my stupid shoulder. Can't the damn thing just hurry up & heal?

We went out for breakfast this morning. DS1 insisted that we take the dogs. He said that he wanted to "be in charge of Cher." DS likes Cher, but really isn't attached to her like he is to Chyna & Brutus, so I had to ask why he was suddenly interested in Cher. His reply..."Chicks dig hard luck stories. Cher is a hard luck story." He was put in charge of Angel & Chyna.

DH is in charge of dinner tonight. He & the boys are in the kitchen. I took a pain pill, & am now sipping of a glass of wine.

Quanah, you're in a good home now. Stay there and enjoy. 

 Courtney, I'd laugh, but when I stayed at the residence campus last time I went to school, someone from the office had to come and show me how to work the door. I was hopeful though that by the time I got to PhD, I'd know how to do it. Damn!

I'm getting laughed at right now because I can't parallel park though. 

Aw geeze, poor kid.  Cervical strains are not fun.

Lauren, ummm, honey, what the heck are you doing on idog the day after your wedding??

Got all the stuff in the RV unloaded today.  AND all put away.  I'm gonna need the shop vac to suck the mountains of fur outta there....places I apparently didn't get with the vacume.  Yuck.  I did not address the compartments, and they can just wait for a day or so.  At least the stuff in there isn't going to require a whole lot of finding places for it......

Gotta have the plumber come in the morning....the toilet is leaking.  Fun stuff.

Steph, good to hear it isn't overly serious and he's home now recovering. 

Jez, good to hear the flooding is going down.  Any word on damage?

Anne, good to hear Quanah came home on his own...he must've known how good he had it with you!!!

Amanda....I'm not used to hearing stories of you wimping out!  :)  Just kiddin.  Let the shoulder heal....what if we need you to do 2X4 duty???  LOL @ the DS & Cher.

Glenda, do you have the house ready for the housewarming yet??? 

Anywho, my new best friend is hydromorphone!  WEEEEEEEEEEE   I tingles!  I've decided that I'm going back on my diet tomorrow.  I crashed from it kinda bad these past couple months. 

I'm not sure what my neighbor is up to...he's using a broken power tool or something and it's making far too much noise for my likens....gonna soon go over and jump it. 

Gosh dogs...there's seats everywhere!  Why must you insist on sitting on top of me!

I've tried 4 different types of tea today.  I love 3 of them and the other is kinda bland....will use that one for iced tea I guess.

OMG, I HATE fireworks. It is nowhere NEAR the fourth of july, my neighbors are shooting off fireworks, and my dogs are going NUTS. And I'm trying to study. Can I call the cops?! Grr!
