Dawn, that's just cruel!
I am not cruel!...ok maybe I am, my father told me I need a case of lockjaw because I was teasing him about what we were eating vs hospital food.
Most bread machines have a dough cycle, it takes 1 hour and 20 min on average. Things like eggs, butter and the like need to be at room temp. And check your bread machine book, it will tell you the order to put things in. Buy some good white bread machine flour, I use white lilly, I also use real (lightly) salted butter over margarine. Fleishmans makes a bottled bread machine yeast as well.
I take things out of the fridge, let em sit for about 30 min, then start adding the ingredients, turn the thing on and go do other stuff. Come back, let it rest, make the filling, roll em out, fill, cut, put in pan and then I usually stick it in the oven to raise (keeps it out of drafts) when they are ready to be baked I take em out, preheat and then bake.
I took some to my former employer and left them on his counter, he called me later to thank me. I still do some contract work for him since he is male and clueless.
