I feel so bad for my little ladybug. Yesterday she had a rough day. She had been in a pretty whiny mood since I made her leave the park because she couldn't respect a disabled little girl's space. She had a walker and I tried to explain to Devin that it wasn't a toy and wasn't OK for her to touch it but she wouldn't stop running to see it and crowding her. I could tell the little girl was very uncomfortable with her being so close, so I eventually had to take her home because she was getting unruley. We had been there awhile and were hot and about to leave anyway, but it just set her off and she was so mad all the way home since I didn't give her any warning before we left.
Then a little later, I put her in the laundry basket and let her ride into the kitchen in it. We do this all the time. Well, when she was trying to get out, it tipped over and she bit into her top lip pretty good. It bled like crazy and she screamed bloody murder but we got the bleeding to stop pretty fast and I got her comforted and she stopped crying pretty fast. She didn't bite all the way through, but has two huge teeth marks in her upper lip, and although I know they heal fast, and I can already see that is happening, it looks so painful and I feel so horrible for her. I talked to the dentist and they didn't seemed all that concerned since her teeth weren't chipped and she didn't bite through it and said it will heal really fast. I did discover that I handle blood much better than my husband, and we both already know that he handles throw up better. lol!
I did take her to this really awesome park here to meet a friend, and it was specifically built with kids her age in mind. The slides had dips at the ends so that they don't go flying off the ends of them and most were covered. There was plenty of climbing to be done, but all of the sides were enclosed with bars so I didn't worry about her falling. It makes it possible for me to take her to the park by myself and still really enjoy everything! This is going to be our new go to park because it is really pretty close to home, and suprisingly, it wasn't overrun with people either, and it is big enough that even with a lot of people, there is plenty to do!
Glenda, I am so excited that you get to finally start moving some stuff! Jackie, that Schwam's guy better get there today! You know there are plenty of places with pre prepared foods to help you out. Central Market has great choices as I am sure plenty of other places do too. It seems to be an up and coming thing these days even in some of the regular grocery stores.
Have a great Monday everyone!
