No comment on the Brazilians.  Let's just leave it at my husband can tell from the other room when one is up because he hears me yelling for the bull. Wink

LMBO! I can't help it. I love 'em....I always admire them in UFC too...or WEC...MMA in general is frickin ACES. I cannot believe I used to not like it...what's not to like?? scantily clad men, with perfect bodies...throwing down over a belt. Love it.

How could I forget Chuck!  And we watched Dexter through Netflix too, I love it!!

And Xebby, in Pittsburgh be prepared for Steelers EVERYWHERE.  You can't avoid it.  This town loves their team.  lol

I want to like Bones, I really do, but they make too many jabs at psychology. Psychology does NOT equal psychoanalysis! It is not "unscientific"! It is just as scientific as anthropology! Arrrrrgh! Phew. I feel better now.

In that vein, I do really like Lie To Me. I think it's really well done. A little formulaic, perhaps, but I still like it.

For reruns / Netflix, I just started watching Pushing Daisies - wow! How did I not know this quirky, dark comedy show existed?? I loves it!

If you like Chuck, you might like Reaper, on Hulu. Very Chuck-like, IMO. (But I don't really like Chuck!)

Also on Hulu, I've enjoyed Crusoe a lot - a mini-series about Robinson Crusoe. Brit-produced. Best show ever in the world, no, but it has its moments!

OH! And one of my favorites on Hulu/Netflix is Dresden Files. So, so bummed there's only 1 season of it. It's like Harry Potter meets old-school private investigator shows. I think if you like Firefly, you'll like Dresden :)

Edit: I really love Criminal Minds, too, but I have to Netflix it because I don't have TV.

Most of the time I watch TV, it's just on while I'm working.  I usually watch reality stuff like Say Yes to the Dress, Animal Hoarders, Intervention, Teen Mom, I Shouldn't Be Alive, Untold Stories of the ER...

The only shows I really make a point to watch when they air are House, Criminal Minds, So You Think You Can Dance, and Make It Or Break It.  None of them are airing new episodes right now.

Heather, we have similar taste in TV shows.  I love The Office, Psych, and Rescue Me, too.  I'm bummed that Rescue Me is over.

Ahhh...great minds think alike, lol.  Psych is the only TV series that I've bought all seasons on DVD...I can just watch the eps over and over.

We DVR Rescue Me and just watched the season finale this week.  Was kinda disappointed in the last scene (was it another one of Tommy's "I see ghosts" deals, or what?!).  I don't think, though, that it was the series finale.  I read somewhere that next year will be the last season and that they've planned the end of the show to come around the 10th anniversary of 9/11.

I like quite a few of the FX shows (past shows The Shield, Nip/Tuck) and now Rescue Me and Sons of Anarchy.  We recorded Terriers last night but haven't watched it yet, so it remains to be seen if it's a worthy show, lol.

I already miss Lost.  I hope to one day get the $$ together to buy the whole series on DVD.  Best. Show. Ever.

Courtney, I loved Pushing Daisies!!  I can't believe it was cancelled...it was such a great, unique show.

House is starting soon isn't it? I'm sure I saw the preview for the Season Premier...

I'm watching Big Brother now. I cried for Brit last night...poor girl.

Tyler and I watched Lost from beginning to end last year. I couldn't bring myself to watch it while it was on, but got hooked on it later.

I like House, NCIS, Rookie Blue, Criminal Minds, Minute to Win It, America's Got Talent and most of the stuff on TLC and HGTV and DIY Network. The only thing I set a timer for is BB though. I'm not that big into tv. Its too far from the computer.

I am anxiously awaiting the return of Grey's Anatomy, Dancing with the Stars, Private Practice, and Castle. Aside from that, there isn't much else I have to see. Until they come back, I'm staying occupied with Dr. G Medical Examiner, and the Food Network mostly.

    • Sports!!!

    • Deadliest Catch

    • Grey's Anatomy

    • House

    • Glee

    • Private Practice

Technically, I watch Grey's, & Private Practice.  DH watches House, & DC, & I have learned to like them.  The kids like Glee, & DH & I have both grown to like it.  We are all sports fans.

We also can't wait for The Biggest Loser to start up again!

Me too! I just saw a commercial yesterday! Wheeee!

I usually DV-R shows because I can only watch tv in 5 minute increments thanks to the two mini-hoomans in the house. I like The Antonio Treatment, Design Star, The Next Food Network Star, Income Property, Ace of Cakes.

On TV I've been watching sci fi's new show Haven.  Was also watching the anime Monster on there, but they stretched it out and are so sporatic about the episodes skipping weeks I'm going to have to re-watch it elsewhere.  It isn't one of the shows you want to skip much because everything is so tied in.

Outside of that the only thing on TV I was really keeping track of was the new Futurama episodes.  Oh, and the Mentalist if I happen to catch it on.

If we are looking outside of the television I've been re-watching Kyo Kara Maoh as of late.

Oh, I second (or third) the recommendation for Pushing Daisies!!  That show was brilliant, and it deserved way more than only one season.  Great writing, clever story concepts, quirky characters, awesome cast, and it was visually "delicious" -- I loved it.

That's just one of many shows that were cancelled way too soon (in my opinion).  Shows like Freaks & Geeks, Sports Night, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, Wonderfalls, Lucky (with John Corbett).  It bugs me when shows that are really good don't get enough of a fan base to convince TV execs to keep them on the air.  On the other hand, maybe that means they weren't good, and I have bad taste in shows!  Tongue Tied

Well, I don't have television service (not even basic), so my TVs shows are limited to what I can get via netflix or Hulu (or TNT plays a couple of their shows online too). That said, for someone who doesn't have television service, I am a TV addict. Some shows I enjoy:

Stargate SG-1, Atlantis and Universe, Warehouse 13, Covert Affairs, Rizzoli & Isles, Leverage, Eureka, Grey's Anatomy, White Collar, Dexter, Pushing Daisy's, Veronica Mars (ok so this was more geared toward teens lol.....), Lie to Me, Castle, Bones, Haven, Doctor Who (newer stuff), Torchwood (notice a trend with Sci-fi???), Star Trek (original and Next Gen lol), Nip/Tuck, Rescue Me, The Dead Zone, Rookie Blue...

I tend to watch TV only on Friday and Saturday nights. It explains why I'm up until 3 or 4am lol (it's me time, dog is sleeping, SO is sleeping..)

Ya know there WAS a show I was thinking of watching. I don't think it started yet...that one with The Shat in it !@#$ My Dad Says. It looked potentially funny. I have a strong attraction/aversion thing going with The Shat...he repels me and yet, I always want to hear him talk...LMBO.
