• Why I love my dog Benedict Posted : 6/7/2006 2:23:29 AM For those of you that read my mattress saga in NDR....   My gorgeous new comfortable mattress was delivered yesterday and I was looking forward to a great night's sleep for the first time in ages.  I knew Ben would get me up every few hours but at least I would have a comfy bed to go back to.   Well....my wonderful little puppy decided to pick last night as his first night to sleep for EIGHT HOURS!!!! Until now he had been waking up every 2-3 hours to pee, but on the night I needed most to get some rest, he went to bed at 11 and woke up at 7!  I swear it's almost as if he knew.    I am full of not just vim, but vigour too, and as far as I am concerned right now the wonderful summer sun is shining directly out of his you know where. Even when she first came home and slept in a box she never woke up to go potty in the middle of the night.
